Firefox Portable

Putting the FirefoxPortable.ini in FirefoxPortable folder and setting AllowMultipleInstances=true allows me to start multiple instances of FirefoxPortable.
But when I want to start FirefoxPortable2ndProfile while FirefoxPortable is already running it wouldn't start, saying that another instance is already running. How can I enable FirefoxPortable2ndProfile to allow multiple instances? I tried putting the FirefoxPortable.ini in the FirefoxPortable2ndProfile folder and setting AllowMultipleInstances=true like in my previous case, but it doesn't work!

I have problem with firefox portable creating a new profile in %AppData% when I click links from other applications, or when I opened saved .html files.

Any idea why this would be happening? I can't find or figure out a solution to stop this.

Noticing a very strange behavior with FirefoxPortable_16.0.1_English. Some random images are simply not displaying. For example, the little youtube logo in the upper left corner of youtube.com. Its just not there. Other sites are missing random images too, while others display just fine. The sites look great in Chrome, and I have tried reinstalling a fresh copy of ff portable to make sure all the settings are default, still have the missing images.

Any idea what this could be?

its' Stuck in weird full screen mode with a weird new 'home dash'-
What is HOME DASH - ? new?
it has Translucent tabs and no +(add) tab \
\\ new 1/3 or 1/2 screen
\ no bookmarks-- can't find my open tabs. all options to change toolbars are checked, yet can't see navigaion or any toolbars.
Weird interface- shifting to full screen→ back to the old 'NORMAL screen
its totally erractic- and almost confusingly unable to use-

Firefox 16.01 Portable, tabs cannot close. I can close the window of course. The X on the tab doesn't work. Right clicking and choosing Close Tab doesn't work. Right clicking another tab and choosing Close Other Tabs doesn't work.

Firefox 17 Beta Portable, JavaScript errors out the wazoo. Mostly on Facebook. YouTube as well.

Firefox 16.01 doesn't have the tab issue at home, and I generally use the same extensions on both home and portable. Portable doesn't have the Reddit extension and a couple home-specific extensions. Tab Mix Plus is on both but again, tabs close on installed 16.01.

It happens that since Firefox 13.00 I cannot use Firefox anymore on my pen drive.
I download it on a computer, make it work; then I copy all the directory on open drive and move it on another computer, but at this stage it doesn't work.

Any help?

THe firefox app page states that the preview pictures in the new tab are blank due to the disabled disc cache in Firefox portable. Since version 16, those pictures are stored as jpegs in the profile folder and thus appear even if the disk cache is disabled.

It seams im unable to use FF Sync with the Version 16.0
The broser does connect to my Profile and I even can see my Qouta in the mozzila Server. I just come up with Sync- Error.

Just wondering what's happened to my favicons. They are showing on my tabs and my bookmarks but not on my address bar. They use to show up until I updated to FF 15.0.1. Now it just shows a world icon. Is there a setting to change it back or is it just the way it is now? Not a big deal cos everything else works fine.

After installed Firefox portable 16.0, the 2nd profile don't start more.
I saw that there is a conflict with Torbutton 1.4.6.2, because, removing that addon, the 2nd profile work fine. But the strange thing is that the main Firefox (1st profile) work fine with that addon installed and enabled. Also work fine the Desktop version of Firefox 16.0 with Torbutton 1.4.6.2 installed and enabled.
Only there is a problem with the 2nd profile (version 1.2 in my installation). Why?
It is an unpleasant thing because the 2nd profile is, for me, precisely to work in Tor mode.
