Hello,
is the new Nightly of Firefox 28 available as PortableApp?
I would love to see a preview of the new design.
Where can I download it?
Greetings

I initially upgraded my primary FF Portable install. I noticed the performance was very bad when opening web sites, moving between pages of web sites, etc. I was astounded to see the same performance when accessing a local web server that is 1 Layer 2 switch hop away, inside my home, does not serve anyone else, and has an average CPU utilization of 0%.
Just FYI: after last update 25.0.1 my Firefox was transformed from Polish to English
Hi,
Completely uninstalled the non-portable Firefox 23 using RevoPro so I am sure that no remnants remain. I also did a full Registry scan.
I installed FirefoxPortable 24-ESR (yes, I KNOW how ESR works) and installed NoScript etc addons and all is working fine.
I set the Options/ Advanced/ General "Always check to see if ... default" to checked.
But, when I click on a link in any other program that used to launch firefox it now launches a bare version of Firefox without NoScript and other addons. They are not even listed in the "Add-ons" menu option.
Hello,
I've just downloaded Firefox Portable 25 and installed it in a fresh empty folder. I was surprised to find out a disabled extension named SmartPrintButton 1.0 by Liu Zhen. Given home page of this developer is http://imaging.hpl.hp.com/people/default.html (not working)
There is not Remove option for this add-on.
Will appreciate your comments. Thank you.
Ivo
I have found a strange problem that I don't know how to solve.
Here it is:
Every so often certain pages or buttons will stop working properly. These include Google Maps (typing a location in the box and pressing enter does nothing, and there's no autosuggest either, and it's impossible to drag the map to move around) and Twitter (the buttons, such as the "New Tweet" button stop working). Buttons on various other sites fail to work too.
The solution is simple: I restart Firefox. But then it comes back, perhaps 10 minutes later, perhaps 20 minutes, perhaps 2 hours.
Any idea what could be causing this and how to solve it?

Hi,
why there is no version 17.0.10 of Mozilla Firefox ESR, portable edition?
Whereas an installable ESR Version 17.0.10 exists:
https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-17.0.10esr
Also, in the past the same versions of Firefox and Thunderbird ESR portable edition where always published almost at once.
But this time (Oct 30, 2013) at portableapps.com:
I often use the browser feature that lets me Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Window by right clicking on a link and selecting one of those options. Seems to work fine for non-portable versions of browsers including Firefox. However, am unable to get it to work with Firefoxportable. Tried changing some of the Options and still no luck getting it working. Is there a specific setting I need to change or is there a work-around to get this to work properly with the portable version of Firefox? Thanks.
