GPG 2.0.5?
Hello,
GPG is released in version 2.0.5 for Windows, too. It's planned to make this version workable for Thunderbird PE?

All,
I've got Thunderbird Portable set up on my usb stick. Its Junk Filters are working well. I wondered if there is a usb AV available that checks emails as they arrive into the email client. ClamWin doesn't. I can't assume that a PC has AV installed and will check for me.
Thanks
A
Hello,
I replaced my 1.5 files with the new 2.0.0.4 version. It kept all the data, but I have an error message down the bottom of the interface:
No chrome package registered for chrome://messenger-offline/locale/offline.dtd .
Error: undefined entity
Source File: chrome://messenger-offline/content/msgOfflineOverlay.xul
Line: 26, Column: 5
Source Code:
<menu id="offlineMenuItem" insertafter="trashMenuSeparator" label="&offlineMenu.label;" accesskey="&offlineMenu.accesskey;">----^
I don't have scrollbars either for the list of messages in my inbox.
I tested the setup and there is no problem sending e-mails from my thunderbird portable Gmail a/c.
However I do not receive any in my inbox whils theuy arrive in my GMail in box on my "fixed" thunderbird.
Any idea to solve the problem please?
Also, how to redirect mail from one provider/server to a GMail a/c when on holiday for example.
Hi
I'm running Thunderbird Portable 2.0.0.4 from a portable hard disk on Ubuntu 7.04 (using Wine 0.9.40) and here's the issue I'm facing:
When I first load up TBP, my CPU usage (as seen on System Monitor) goes up to 100% with TBP taking upto 30-40%. If I wait patiently, the window loads, my email downloads and then my CPU usage drops to a normal level. The cycle repeats when I click on a mail in the list or switch the folder or switch to another window.
i use thunderbird (edit:portable) for my college email account, and the smtp server associated with it is blocked on most networks. when im at home, school, or my parents' house i just switch between the outgoing mail servers associated with their networks, but when im checking my email from a public computer or a computer an an unknown network, i usually cant send emails because i dont know the server. this is especially irritating when traveling. is there an easy way to find out the outgoing mail server or, alternatively, to configure it to somehow use my email account's server?
I imported my contact list from gmail and it imported fine, but it seems to have imported onto my hdd rather than the flash drive. Any ideas? Can I move it?
hi,
I am using portable thunderbird for almost one week now. My installed thunderbird can run on different profiles (so I can develop extensions without beeing afraid of a profile crash).
Is it possible to have different profiles on thunderbird portable?
regards Martin
John:
If I run Thunderbird as admin, it leaves
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla Thunderbird
and a sub key.
Is there any way to prevent this or is it just unchangable?
John,
On the main Thunderbird page right under the download button, there is a Link called "Languages" which leads here.
Further down in the support section, there is a Link called "Getting Thunderbird Portable in Other Languages" which leads here.
Shouldn't they both link to the same thing (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable/localization)???
