It's time again to do translations for the PortableApps.com Platform's next release. I've posted a zip file including all the current translations from 2.0 Beta 3 along with the updates submitted since then. The English.locale file includes the translations along with updates needed for the PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 and 2.1. Please do not create a completely new translation, work with the existing one and build on it... many eyes have already been on these.

The UPDATER sections and several others have not yet been updated for many of our supported translations, so please be sure all sections and all lines in your locale are up to date.
Note that APP_MENU_BACK=Back means back as in a browser's back button, returning to the previous list of apps from the full list.
Categories are scheduled for 2.1 which will be coming soon after 2.0, so I'd like to get the translations done now so we don't have to wait on them at all.

Go based on English.locale and update your translation of choice (or create a new one). If your translation of choice uses an alternate character set (ex: Arabic, Cyrillic, Hebrew), the characters will appear oddly in your text editor. You can adjust this by changing the character set to the one mentioned in the Codepage= line at the end of the first INI section. In Notepad++ Portable, you do this by clicking Encoding - Character Sets - [Language] - Windows [CodePage]. EditPad Lite may be better at handling this for some languages and can be changed by clicking Convert - Text Encoding and then selecting the appropriate character set.
Once complete, please post your locale in a new topic here and title the topic with the name of your locale file (ex: SpanishInternational.locale). You can post it in a set of PRE tags by writing out the following in your post:
<PRE>pasting in your locale file here</PRE>
Any comments to a translation can be posted as a reply to that translation's post. Please keep discussion in English and enclose complete updated lines in PRE tags. Don't just add individual strings or strikeouts as a non-native speaker of your locale (like me) won't know what to keep and what to throw out.

Just two comments:
- at least two terms should get a COMMA!
- the use of POINTS isn't stringent (and one term consist of two sentences which should be sepaparted).

About the "Move to Top" and "Move to Bottom" translations, I think it will be even better if it was something like:
Because leaving the infinitive of the verbs Subir and Bajar implies that the action will move up or down only one position in the list. But the commands are for moving to the top and bottom positions, that is to the beginning (inicio) and to the end (final) of the list.
Now, about MENU_BACKUP. In user interface design it is better to use verbs, not just nouns, as menu command labels. "Copia de respaldo" is a noun, it could be changed to:
Translation for: Create backup copy.
But personally I prefer the less wordy:
Translation for: Backup files.
Last note, I think PortableApps.com is the correct name to identify the platform, including the ".com"

Useless prolonging
We will probably not be adding this... or adding it with the US markers... because none of the apps we do (except Pidgin and GIMP that I see) has an English-UK translation... and it would break the language switching. Nearly all apps just have "English" and it's usually US English though sometimes UK English depending on where the author is. Even NSIS, which we use for all our installers and launchers is just "English".
UPDATE: Bart.S pointed out that other apps like Dia and Inkscape also support it. But none of our launchers support it for apps that do only one form of English, so if they're in DE at the moment and see EN_UK from the platform, they won't switch because they won't see it in the list of supported languages... they'll just stay as DE. So, adding this in would add EN_UK support for apps like Dia, GnuCash, Inkscape, Pidgin, VLC and GIMP, but it would break language switching if you were in another language and switched to EN_UK for apps like 7-Zip, Celestia, FileZilla, InfraRecorder, KeePass, Notepad++, PokerTH, PNotes, Task Coach and others... all of which will require launcher updates to properly handle EN_UK at the platform level.
So, we will table this for now and leave it out, but keep an eye toward it as launchers are updated and include it in the next platform release.
