It's been a while since I've been on the site. I've been busy with my IRC Server and my current project, ScrapIRC Python Services. I've been kind of away from this project. So.
What's up everyone? How've ya been doing? And, what is new? I'd be glad to hear from ya'll. Especially the developers that were supporting when I joined. (If they are still here.) So. Tell me everything.
I'm still waiting for a Resolution fix for Warzone 2100
That's all I been up to xD
The workaround could be found here. Any questions left?
SWEET!!
Thanks a lot Bart.S!
Now I know what i'm doing in school for weeks now
learning!
Nice try.
but actually we aren't doing anything this week xD
Hi. I'm kinda new here. I'm trying to get more involved.
I have made one portable app and I am currently working on another.
I started the goolewave topic Here, Come join the PA.c Public Wave, Pa.c Public Fun Wave and the Pa.c Public Help Wave.If you need a GoogleWave invite let me know,I have plenty

"The shell is the key to unlock Linux's greatest advantages."
NO, I'm just kidding. xD
Glad to see ya here. Seems like you're a fan of the site. (There was a lot when I was on). I'm good on the Wave invite. I have an account on there and Voice. I'm on the net often (Googling 'dbdii407' might help. LOL). I twitter daily. I would wave too but my xUbuntu doesn't like it.
Na na na, come on!
Truly I am a noob the closest thing to a programing language that I know is html and css, which might be why im having problems with Portable HandBrake :/
I am a true fan , Im just now getting involved tho. Other than the google wave thread I have started a Unofficial .NET List hopefully it will help John out if he decides to add .NET apps. LOL more results than me, I have account for everything I can think of, don't use most tho.
Have you tried Google chrome for Linux?

Nah. It's too crappy to even run wine.
Na na na, come on!
Came out.
What are the specs?
On my really horrible 10 year old machine it runs like lightning :P.

Hi!
I've been a member for some time, although I probably joined after you left (don't recall seeing you on here before, sorry).
I've been pretty busy with school work, but I still managed to get one app - KidSafe - in the release queue. Hopefully it's going to go official on Christmas Day, but probably not.
So, how've you been?
l8r!
"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."
I guess Lightscreen isn't as popular as it was then huh?
Hope you've been doing well on the app so far. I'll have to check it out.
Na na na, come on!
Not sure what you mean about LightScreen... (tbh, I didn't even know what that was until I checked a moment ago)
I'm doing pretty well on the app, mostly thanks to agdurrette. He did a great job testing so the bug tracker's empty right now...
Still hoping for that Christmas release date.
Say, do you have any projects going on here?
"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."
I swear, you almost made me fall outta my chair.
I remember when I wanted to have Lightscreen packaged out to go on a certain date but it got held back because the developer /HAD/ to make a new release right at that moment. Ugh!
And when you mean projects, Do you mean just on the site itself, or on the outside of it too?
Na na na, come on!
THAT'S where I know you from! You did the portablization of LightScreen, right?
It's still my favorite screenshot app (only one actually) but on the work computer (Windows XP Pro SP3) it won't take screenshots if the Save As... option is on. With that option off, it saves them in the default dir. This is a relatively new bug, it seems that it worked before. Re-downloaded, even re-downloaded, deleted the whole directory, reinstalled -- it did. not. work. Works just fine at home (Win7 32-bit) though. Even copied the home dir to the flash dir (both portable versions) and the flash one still doesn't work at work. Might be the way the OS is configured. I don't know. Not really a deal breaker though.
I did the Lightscreen App (With the help of Johnny) (The Portable Part of It)
Ya. I've heard some problems about the main version itself on XP. *sigh*
Na na na, come on!
Oh, I know that feeling...
Fortunately I'm the developer of KidSafe (I actually designed it to be PAF-compatible from the getgo) so I can call the shots with new releases...
When I said projects, I was primarily referring to PortableApps projects, but I'd be interested to hear about other projects you've got going as well...
"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."
LOL. Smart one.
for my projects, just google 'dbdii407' and check the first page.
Na na na, come on!
hmm, I googled (scroogled, actually) "dbdii407" (no quotes) but only found ScrapIRC. Most of the results were logs from IRC, Twitter, etc...

There's ScrapIRC and 'ScrapIRC Python Services'
Na na na, come on!
That's due to the bugs
Welcome back, David!
Best way to get up-to-date is reading the blogs.

Were you here when we took a bunch of SourceForge awards over the summer?
And oh yes, we won the "Hive Five - best portable apps" contest on LifeHacker (although another site cheated)...
