Though intended for developers, some advanced end users may also find it useful. This release adds automatic exclusion of Visual C runtimes, feedback on excluded files and fixes a bug with excluding extensions. It's the latest Mozilla Thunderbird email client from the older 3.1.x branch bundled with a PortableApps.com launcher as a portable app. It is primarily intended for extension testers. All users are encouraged to upgrade to the current Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition 9 release. This release will install alongside a current Thunderbird Portable install in a ThunderbirdPortableLegacy31 directory by default, though it can also be used to upgrade an existing ThunderbirdPortable installation. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.
