jPortable 6 Update 27.1 (formerly Java Portable) has been released by PortableApps.com. jPortable allows you to easily install the Java® runtime engine to your PortableApps.com-enabled device for use with portable apps like LibreOffice Portable, all without any Java runtime on the local PC. This release has an improved installer with support for automated installations and updates as well as a smaller download and install size. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format for easy use from any portable device and integration with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's freeware for business and personal use.

Marble Portable 1.2.0 has been released. Marble is a Virtual Globe and World Atlas that you can use to learn more about Earth: You can pan and zoom around and you can look up places and roads. A mouse click on a place label will provide the respective Wikipedia article. This release updates Marble to the latest version. Note that Marble itself may crash on exit on some Windows PCs, though this doesn't affect portability.
