PortableApps.com is proud to announce that PortableApps.com Installer 3.8.13 has been released. The PortableApps.com Installer allows you to quickly package your portable apps in an easy-to-use installer without having to write or compile any code. This release updates 7-Zip and innounpack to the latest version. The PortableApps.com Format Specification and installer are available for outside developers to use and can be used freely with free open source and freeware applications. Commercial use is available by contacting PortableApps.com.

You can remote control a partner's desktop to give online assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT. It's packaged as a portable app so you can work on the go and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's released as freeware for personal use (business/office use requires a license).

A new version of HWiNFO 32+64 Portable has been released. HWiNFO is a comprehensive hardware analysis, monitoring and reporting tool. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. The 32-bit and 64-bit versions (HWiNFO32 and HWiNFO64) are included and the correct one is automatically used. HWiNFO is freeware for personal (32/64-bit) and business use (32-bit only) and requires admin rights to run.

A new version of Iron Portable has been released. SRWare Iron is 'The browser of the future' - based on the free Sourcecode "Chromium" - but without some features that privacy advocates object to. This release updates to the latest version and fixes an issue preventing manual language selection. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Iron is packaged for portable use with permission from SRWare.

A new version of Mozilla Firefox®, Portable Edition Legacy 115 has been released. It's a more-extended-than-usual Extended Support Release of the popular Mozilla Firefox web browser designed for Windows 7/8/8.1 users with support continuing through March 2025. It's bundled with a PortableApps.com Launcher as a portable app. It is intended for web developers and extension developers to test against. Individual users not using Windows 7/8/8.1 should use standard Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition for everyday use.
