Why Skype doesn't remember language settings? I want the interface language to be english. Any way to make it remember the settings so i don't have to switch the language every time i start Skype?

I would be using this program only infrequently, and do not like the behavior of installed Skype that it comes up ready to use in the Windows taskbar at every bootup -- in effect already ON and operational: I'd much rather invoke the program only at my discretion, like nearly all other apps. However, I do not notice any setting available in Skype to adjust this behavior.

I've a USB Flash Drive with all my apps and I'm using Windows 10 LTSB.
DSynchronize was installed but Windows 10 recognizes it as Malware and prevents it from starting.

Please instruct what I should do.

I've downloaded Opera Portable (ver: 35.0.2066.82). I have installed some extensions, synchronized my bookmarks with Opera's official service. All went fine. But when I start browser for 3rd time, all settings gone and it launched as a Fresh installation.

On my portableapps, this is the profile location:
H:\Portables\PortableApps\PortableApps\OperaPortable\App\Opera\profile\data
and I've observed that whenever I exit from Opera, somehow, it refreshes \data folder and so I lost all settings.

after each update I run with my portable google chrome browers I always get the same error message:
"Google Chrome portable cannot be started"

Then I always have to reinstall the chrome browers. Does anybody knows the problem and a solution?

where do you put plug ins for the new opera chrome

It leaves behind a SkypeSetup.exe in AppData/Local/Temp. Last time I checked and deleted the file. Then did an update no setup.exe. Now it is there again. Maybe Skype downloads an installer automatically because if there is an update available it asks you to update. I always click "not now". The bad thing you can't even suppress Skype to check for updates. Any ideas?

Hi. I was using Eraser Portable to batch overwrite 10 files (around 1GB each). The App stopped responding and after several hours I force closed it.
I then noticed my hard drive had gone from 1TB free to 196GB free and I could not reload Eraser portable as I received the message that an instance of the app was already running.
Task manager doesn't show Eraser Portable as a running app or background process in the list.
I would appreciate some assistance.

I had 12 torrents completely downloaded and seeding. when i updated qbittorrent from 3.3.1 to 3.3.3 some of the torrents files are being redownloaded. the files are in the previously downloaded folder, and forcing recheck is also not working.

e.g. i had downloaded the martian movie, watched it and it is still in the downloaded folder. the torrent for that file is in qbittorrent but it is being redownloaded. i have also cheked the set download location and it is as it should be.
