Hi,
I just tried the Notepad++ PortableApps-pack, after using the portable version directly from Notepad++ website for a long time.
And I got shocked: It now takes just about 4-5 seconds longer to start the app!
Why?!
I upgraded Notepad++ Portable to 4.8 when it came out, and found it had a new plugin bundled: Explorer (which is really nice). Today I just upgraded my nephew's copy of N++P to 4.81r2 and there's no Explorer, just LightExplorer... I even tried installing a clean copy of 4.81r2, and the clean copy only has LE...
Is there a reason you switched back to LE, or was this a packaging error?
Does anybody else remember this application at this site. I remember that it didn't appear directly in applications, but if you would see it in the games catagory list on the left.
Hi,
I have installed a portable app (cdexPortable) by pasting it in the portableapps directory.
The problem is that the menu displays the content of the "description" property of this file which is: "version française" (french version) Not very helpful!
Is there a way either to change this property (not possible from windows explorer) or to override it (by an .ini file for example)?
Hi guys,
I installed this newest version and now my files that normally opened when I open Notepad++ don't. There are usually between 5-10 files depending on what I am working on at the time. That was one of my favorite things about this product. Now there is only "new 1" when I open it.
Any ideas, other than go back?
1. load an mp3 file into mplayer
2. in the playlist, select "repeat"
3. At the end of the song, mplayer dies
I just took a peek at ASuite, a menu supposedly for use on Portable Media. I downloaded the zip and unzipped it.
I started if an a warning popped up on my PC.
Category: System Startup global entry, value added
Entry ASuite, new data path to asuite.exe.
Also I got a skinned version that looked like a PAM mod as well as the slim one I expected to see. Both at the same time... Anyone has some experience with this menu?
I for now assume this is a beta app with issues to iron out.

??????? anyone help me please...
Is it just me or does NP++ have problems opening a file thats filename includes international characters? Is this a NP++ error or an error of how portable apps compiles it?
