I know this isn't the right platform for talking to you, but I don't know where that one is, so here goes: You told us some time ago that the ad saturation thing was temporary, to test various things, and I think everybody understood the need for exploring ways to increase the revenue of PA.com. I, for one, am relieved to see that the experimental stage appears to have passed, and I just want to thank you for giving us back the site we hold dear without being bowled over by ads everywhere. I hope the revenue situation is improving.

I have been happily using Thunderbird portable for some long time now (I see my membership here is 17+ yrs). In past years I did use it to travel with just a USB drive or a hard drive, but in more recent times, I am realizing I am now only ever on my PC, or on my own laptop, just plugging my drive into which ever I will be using at the time (PC at home and laptop to travel)

I may be reallllly stupid, but how do I upload an app that I have made portable?
There doesnt seem to be an 'upload' button.
Do i have to email it to support?

wasn't sure where to put this put MS Antivirus marked my Notepad++ Portable App as maleware and removed it.
Win10, np++ 8.6

The App was on the system for some time, so I guess ms is to blame.

Anyone with that same Problem?

I have OBS Portable installed on a USB stick. Within OBS, I have it set to store videos on the USB stick under the Videos folder. I also have a png file stored on the USB stick to use as a logo in new videos.

The first few times I ran it, the USB stick was assigned to the D drive. As such, OSB is set to look to the D drive for the above mentioned file paths.

I just plugged the USB stick in again (in the same PC) and it got assigned to the E drive even though there was no other external drive connected and the D drive was not assigned to anything.

I'm so grateful to have discovered such a great piece of software when I did, and quite candidly I really wish that I would have discovered the platform much sooner than I did !! I'm currently running the portableapps software on a San Disk Cruzer Glide 128 GB USB Thumb Drive, while I'm thinking about the subject, is there a certain technical specification that needs to be met so as to be able to the best results overall ? I have OBS Portable installed. I am interested in using plugins within the program. When researching how to install them, I've seen some some require running an installer that installs it on the PC.

Can these not be used with OBS Portable?

I have a problem...
My mother (an old woman) use hers computer to check email, navigate internet, find information.
About every 3 moths I have to reformat the computer for viruses, unwanted programs, crashed file that slow down the machine.

I would portabilize a browser (I prefer Ungoogled Chromium) in FULL ISOLATED sandbox.
The problem is the conflict with the sandbox builted in into Chrome.

Have you any ideas how to perform this goal?

Hi having doe a seach I see that people have previoslu asked ig Gegel plugins work in old versions of gimp but the answwer seems to be no.

version 2.20.36 has gegl options in tools and filters. both are unpopulated.

I also discovered an alternative to them called Ofnuts on souurceforge. Ofnuts bing the author?

I can't begin tell you the amount of satisfaction I currently have with the portableapps platform, after doing some research I've discovered that the portableapps platform is the best possible choice for an application of it's type. Unless I somehow missed it I would enjoy using the platform even more if users had the opportunity to add some applications such as brave browser to my list of installed portable applications that I currently have installed on my 128 GB usb stick.
