I noticed that NUV and KompoZer are repeated once in development, and once in internet. Also, even if the programs are based off each other, I think they should be listed seperatly. Also, why do we link to XAMPP if it isn't from PortableApps? Actually, we only provide a LAUNCHER!!! Yes, a launcher.

Menu Integration: XAMPP isn't in PortableApps.com Format, but it easily integrates with the PortableApps.com Suite by using the XAMPP Launcher 1.3 and installing XAMPP in the root directory of your portable device (as recommended).

Thanks everyone for being such a helpful bunch of people. I could never have learned how to even make an EXE without your help. Special Thanks to John and Rab040ma, John for starting this and Rab040ma for teaching me so much about how to make a portable app.

Ok is there anyway to do a uninstall like most other programs like this have. Like i can have stuff in My Documents folder on my usb drive and i can install everything but that my documents file. Cause now i only see the ability to format the driver or delete the other folders as a way to uninstall.

I was wondering, I use the R30 menu mod, and would like it is I could get the folder icons for documents and video, without the folder.

I mean, just think. All the other crappy things we would be stuck using. If it wasnt for john we would never be here.

A while after I installed the portable apps suite, my USB name changed to portableapps, and I cannot rename it back, as it reverts back to "portableapps" all the time. I've read some of the previous topics, that it has to do with autorun.inf but I've had no luck. I tried changing it and even deleting the file but I still cannot rename it. Please help, as my USB name is bothering me greatly.

Is there any gps software that I could use by just throwing it on my thumb drive?

I just updated the press page with stuff from the last couple months. New stuff from CNET, lifehacker, ZDNet, downloadsquad, Information Week, CHIP, Google. I think someone said we were recently download of the day on Download.com, too, but I couldn't find it. Anything else we're missing?

Dear John,

Looking through different launchers it seems every one is different specific depending on the current application. Currently developers just have to 'wing it' to make a new launcher.

Now I know you are planning (or already building) a kind of installer/launcher creation application which I really look forward to. But before you can make the app itself you have to create a launcher that features every possible action needed to make an installer.
