Need Windows XP users to test new eject utility (Update 2017-12-04)

The Platform uses the USB Disk Ejector utility internally to handle safe ejects of USB drives. It's a solid open source utility with years of work behind it. Unfortunately, version 1.3.x of the utility, while fixing some issues, has caused issues for some of our Windows XP users in the past. Most recently, we tried upgrading it in the Platform 14.0 release but had to revert back the old 1.1.2 disk ejector in Platform 14.1.

The Beta Testing Forum is used to provide test versions of applications that aren't yet ready for wide use, but could use the input of willing participants to test them out to hammer out any bugs, as well as offer comments and criticisms of the application so the developers can make changes before widespread public release.

Any developers may post beta testing notices here whether their apps are hosted by or not. But these should be legitimate beta tests only, not an attempt to drive traffic to your own site.

We're in need of some folks running Windows 7 64-bit on hardware to test Greenfish Icon Editor Pro Portable's Modern version. By default, the current release is set to deliver the legacy version to Windows 7 64-bit users as it won't work unless feature level 10_1 of DirectX 11 is available. At the moment, I can't test for that in code but am working on it. I also can't actually test if the app works or not as I don't have a hardware install of Window 7 64-bit. Installer 3.7 Beta 1

This is a quick test of the upcoming PA.c Installer 3.7 release. The one big change is the addition of SHA256 hashes to online installer checks. So, DownloadSHA256 and Download2SHA256 within the DownloadFiles section of installer.ini. The latest Google Chrome Portable Dev uses the installer for testing. Please report any findings back, thanks!
