Beta Testing

GnuCashPortable has most recently been the baby of Shawn Faucher. While the stable release of GnuCash 2.2.9 has been out for a while now, Shawn does not seem to have been active recently in these forums and has not released a portable version. His work so far has been outstanding, and his GnuCashPortable NSIS launcher shows a very well thought out structure. I would far prefer Shawn to continue with this project, but I am prepared in his temporary absence to provide a beta 2.2.9 version for testing if there is any interest.

I would like to learn how the PortableApps does portable.Tentei and could not do the same. But learn a lot from you and created a technique with which Winrar with the same structure of PrtableApps. Do a test.

2.1.0 adds a brand new progress box that looks a lot nicer than the old one in my opinion, it also includes a progress bar that should be very accurate, the trade-off for this is setup time, I would like to know if it seems annoyingly long for you.

When I installed it it worked perfectally on my computer, but when I put it on my USB and opened it on the school computers all I get is the "Beta Testing Portable Apps" title screen thing.

Then it just closes on me. Why can't I play it on any computer besides my own? Then its not a portable application!
