I just bought a new macbook a few days ago(can we please not get into the argument of Win. VS. Mac?), and I now need to buy an external hard drive.

First off, I'll be using it for video editing.

Can anyone tell me what kind of Cache I should look for for transferring video to/from the drive?

Also, as this is a mainly windows forum I doubt it, but could anyone by chance tell me how long the battery on my new 15' macbook pro will last while editing video in Final Cut Pro?

And, lastly, can anyone recommend a drive?

ya know how the catagories and threads tell the last one who posted there? why does it not work half the time? cuz sometimes i will post but it doesen show up, but it does the other half! so how does this whole thing work?

I've only actually spent less than a couple of hours working on it, and kindly, ZGitRDun8705 has made me that awesome logo in many high-quality sizes, as well as some other things.

But anyways, I have some questions, because I'm buying a new domain right now, I'd tell you what it was, but then I'de have to kill you. (Not really, but I still won't tell you.)

why do people put unnecisary things in posts such as: www(dot)example(dot)com>remove the "dots" and replace with ".". or: instead of @ they put (at).

i cant figure it out. so why?
