is the server running a little slow today? cuz its taking a little bit longer than usual to load pages over my schools 100 Mbps connection. it could be the network i am on thogh because it has a tendancy to go really slow at times.

I need a way to securely delete my files, but I don't want to trust this important duty to just any application,
I want the best.

There are two different catagories:

1. A comprehensive app for my Personal computer

and

2. A simple app (with a small footprint) for my flash drive
   (an added bonus if the app uses only the single .exe file)

I am currently using CyberShredder on my Flash drive. I like it because it runs from a single .exe file, (no DLL’s or INI’s to deal with, which makes me happy:)

I need a free (opensource would be preferrable) alterantive to FSCapture, FSCapture captures objects on your comp screen and saves them as images.

As of now the site is offline, but it offers great website hosting! I know this has nothing to do with portableapps, but i'm just saying. I have written a launcher for InnoSetup. Would I be allowed to post it here in the beta testing forum? What about hosting it on SourceForge?

I found this site a while ago, maybe a couple months, well, a couple weeks ago, I went back and noticed they had an Applications Page up. And they list almost all of the apps availible from this site, they also mention that PStart is from this site, but it's not, right?

Need an answer for a question please:

Is the meaning of "open source" that even small businesses can use these software for free without paying a fee?? or did I understand something wrong???

I was wondering if anyone knew of a program (Portable or not) that allows you to move the programs in the Taskbar. I'm not really sure how to explain this, but in windows, you know, the programs... like how now if you look at the bottom(or top) or your screen, you'll see a button for firefox, intenet explorer, or opera saying that you have it open. Something that'll let you drag those around and re-order them. Like you can re-order the tabs in Firefox and the new version of IE.

I'm pretty sure metadata is what it's called... anyways...

I was wondering if anyone knew of a program, portable or not, which allows you to add metadata to files... any file... and then allows you to search the metadata.
