There is an eject button

if you download it there is no eject button

there is an eject button in PAM MOD but not in the original

Right now they are listed alphabetically. I can't drag them to a different order. Is there a way to rearrange the order the apps are listed?

I read that the Portable Apps menu is licensed under GPL?

My understanding was that EVERYTHING that is in the same file as the GPL-ed code has to be GPL as well. This would also mean the graphics and icons have to be under the same license I'm afraid.

I noticed recently 2 new firefox versions were posted. Is it wise to spend the energy on apps that have auto update to also release the individual updates?

I admit to the dilemma people could think it's an outdated version.

Does anybody got any more geek.menu themes other than the snow, classic, and default? Hey, it' good to know you have a choice. Yes, I searched the topic before posting.

Question:
I want to make a portable apps to run from my usb. Everyone talks soooo much complicated stuff.. What software CAN NOT be made portable?

What software to I need to make a portable app?
Are there straight forward and simple tutorials?

Say you want to install Universal extractor

Download universal extractor.zip from a any mirror.
Create a Directory with any name (eg: universal extractor) in the PortableApps folder.
Now extract the content of this zip file in to into that folder.
In portable apps menu click options and Refresh apps icons.

This can be done with any application on a condition that the directory in which the app is installed or extracted does not have 2 *.exe files. Otherwise both these *.exe files will be viewed in Portable Apps menu.

I have had portable apps for about a month now and it is AWESOME!!! just something i was wondering... i have a heap of SWF games and stuff which i frequently play... i was wondering if there is a script or a way i can put them into the menu of portable apps so i can easily access them?

Is there any way to have a USB access indicator built-in to the tray icon? I have one of those PQI drives that doesn't have an indicator and would like to have one.

I don't no what to choose for media player - VLC media portable or Mplayer portable.

So I going to let you choose which one I must take and why you perform that choose.
