General discussions of portable apps and news.
Hello,
I have found this portable Xchange PDF-Viewer.
It is a very different than Sumatra PDF Portable: not in open source ... but sometimes usefull
It works with portable apps without modification.
When the new version of the menu is released could the default packaging of the suites be altered. In a professional environment it does not create a good image for two of the three offerings to have games included.
Having "professional" versions of the suites would be better. Then, for those who want entertainment, have variants with the games. Maybe packaging all the games together as a separate download.
Do we have a Portable (ofcourse).
File/Data Recovery program ?
Okay I considered putting this into the OT forum but decided that it was relevent to PAM so I put it here. My problem is when I run this AHK script PAM pops up right after it sends the "#" during the pidgin areas. I posted the whole thing just in case any of it was relevant. If this is a bug in PAM here ya go if it's my fault can you tell me why?

Anyone else eagerly awaiting USB 3.0? I will probably have to buy an external USB adapter to get full speeds of the new devices (won't upgrade motherboard for a while yet) and I hope that new thumb drives won't be too expensive because the first thing I want is a 8GB USB 3.0 thumb drive to place my PortableApps backup on
Alot of threads I've seen on this board have ended with the general statement "we only support OSS not freeware. Comeback when its OSS."
While this is great for the development and management of the official suite of portableapps, it would be nice to have a handy index of freeware apps that dont have a OSS solution available.
I have a few pharmacy programs for a pocket pc that would be great to carry around on the thumb drive. so is there any portable apps program that can emulate pocketpc or winmobile? thanks for any info, GD
Is there a portable apps organizer like outlook or something that could sync with yahoo calendar and notes? thanks for any info, GD
I would like to know when are they going to update the PortableApps Menu?
