My question is simple...
How can I add a working directory with the exec command?
I popped in my flash drive after not messing with it in a while, i usually use my other one, and for some reason the portable apps suite wont start up so i went into the directory folder but its empty and so is the document folder, if i click on properties it shows it as being 0 kb, while if i do the properties of the USB its the same size as it was before. I am able to see hidden folders as well as system ones but the folders remain empty. I have no clue as what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi I use more Linux than Windows but in Linux I couldn't find a good FTP Client. I use PortableApps in my Pen Drive and one day (today :p) I started using FileZilla Portable on Linux with Wine. It works greats.
Just wanted to thanks.
Sorry for my bad english. Greetings, iaN-.
Hi Guys
Ive just noticed that theres seems to be something up with Drupal's timestamps here. If you look at the times in the posts on the thread below:
https://portableapps.com/node/4779
You'll see that they go from January 18th 07 to August 31st 07 and back to February 9th 07. Since timestamps are normally derived from the environment (server/OS) that the App/Site is running on am guessing that there must be something wrong server side or is there a glitch in drupal I'm not aware of? Has anyone else spotted this yet?
What is the best method for adding shortcuts to the menu to access other apps on the drive?
Just a general question which I am sure has been raised before. one of the main reasons I like the portable appliances so much is the fact that I can continue to use the same applications that I use at home on my linux box while at work and forced to use windows. the drawback being mainly, firefox, the data I collect on my usb drive such as fav's/contacts in thunderbird etc, cant be tranfered to my linux machine, or can they be. to be able to run on both OS's would be best but just to be able to move favs from thunderbird would be useful
On one of my PCs, when I launch the Portable Apps Menu I get the system tray icon, but can never find the menu on the desktop. On a different PC it is viewable and useable. The trouble PC does have dual screens running nView.
Any clues?
Thanks.
