Ditto, clipboard extension & manager

Submitted by tmaibaum on September 22, 2007 - 9:03am

Hi,

I would like to add "Ditto", an open-source/freeware application that "saves each item placed on the clipboard allowing you access to any of those items at a later time" (from the website).
I've been using it for one or two years and don't know how I could have ever lived without it... Wink
There used to be a portable version that would only run from a U3 drive (:o), but now there's a regular portable version, too.

Hope you'll like it.

SVN Client (GUI)

Submitted by miksago on September 22, 2007 - 4:40am

Hi,
I'd like to know if there's going to be a SVN client with a GUI developed. I found a topic a little while back about SVN clients, but it didn't say if one was to be developed.
Any Responses would be of great help.

Cheers,
Miksago.

portable app converter

Submitted by betamaxman on September 22, 2007 - 1:39am

A way to convert simple applications that either run from an executable or from their folder has an executable to run from the portable apps start menu would be sweet.
For example I use a fav undelete app called 'restoration' that is a simple executable that can restore files. It would be great to convert this or other such apps to portable apps on the fly.

Portable cd/dvd drive , rw drive emulation

Submitted by DojoStatic on September 21, 2007 - 11:27pm

I would like to see an app that can add cd/dvd drive emulation in a portable setup
i know this isnt impossible because truecrypt can make removable virtual drives from the files you can create with it

---if you have rw emulation then i would like to be able to create disk isos
---drives must be removed on system shutdown or program termination
---must be totally steath

* http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php
daemon-tools --free, read the setup carefully because the setup contains adware all you have to do is uncheck the adware installation

LightBox JS Web Gallery Generator

I don't think it leaves any reg entries . . . but I'm no programmer.

Request: Yahoo_autosync.exe

Submitted by pwhooftman on September 20, 2007 - 5:13pm

My work-pc is so heavily locked down that i haven't been able to find an app that synchronizes Outlook (in Exchange mode) with Yahoo Calendar or Google Calendar.
With locked down, i mean no admin rights, no possibility to load add-ins in Outlook, no installation of .net framework 2.0.

It seems to me that Yahoo Autosync (http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/YYY,436912/srt,0/?v=120&a0=2&pv=61) comes close to a lightweigth sync client, but there are stil registry entries involved.

Can anyone make an true portable app out of yahoo autosysnc?

P2Portable

Submitted by Random1448 on September 20, 2007 - 3:07am

I know, I know, I did a search and see people have posted about Ares p2p client before, AND that someone is working on one, but the one that is being worked on doesn't seem to be working and hasn't been updated. So if you could get a portable apps version of ares, PLEASE do so, or if not ares any open source P2P client. A p2p could be like one of the best portable apps ever, download anything, anywhere!.

here's the ares website: http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/

A N64 emulator

Espreon's picture
Submitted by Espreon on September 20, 2007 - 1:16am

Ok, some of you might know that I am a guy that makes the apps I want portable, but I am a bit tired since I have been doing ALOT. So anyways I would like a N64 Emulator made portable. I don't know what would be a good one (I don't even know the name of ANY N64 Emulators).

If no one wants to do one, just tell me of a good one (preferably one powerful and simple, like VisualBoyAdvance (basically I want a N64 emulator that does the job as good as VBA does its job for emulating GBA games)) and I will make it myself and I will have another project! ^_^ and T_T
