I've seen a couple of posts asking for a decent, simple image editing tool. I think I've got a good suggestion for a tool that comes in between GIMP and Microsoft Paint.
A Hex editor / viewer
Thanks

This project is based on the original "Media Player Classic" and was created after Gabest, the original author, stopped working on it. Several new features have been integrated in this player, such as :
* An option to remove Tearing
* Translation in several languages (currently Czech, French, German, Korean, Hungarian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish)
* Additional video decoders and in particular H.264 and VC-1 with DXVA support (see specific section for details)
Hey I want to port ARP-Tools ( http://freshmeat.net/projects/arptools )
to Windows.
And I want it to be Portable.
So, well are there coders here who'd like to help with this?
Thanks,
Cheers
Robin
There's one rule not mentioned. How do you feel about requests for abandonware to be made a portable app? I'll give an example, so please don't take it as a real suggestion [though it'd be nice if legally possible!], so here goes...
Let's say Wolfenstein [the original Nazi-killing game] is abandonware. [I think it is?] And let's say I'd like the entire game or any other abandonware to be made portable. Or maybe Windows 3.1 [another example] so it can be placed on a laptop as the OS though the laptop has no floppy drive. [Win 3.1 is considered abandonware as far as I know]
Is there any decent programs here to mount ISO images under windows which don't corrupt the hardware driver database and don't interfere with disk management in MMC?
Hi,
Program: NetHack
License: Open Source / Nethack General Public License
Would like to see it as it is a very functional free archiver which supports all the arch types PLUS .tgz, .tar, .rpm, .deb linux packages and many others!

Thank you in advance!
