TimeTracker

Submitted by millarrp on October 17, 2007 - 5:04pm

I thought this might be a useful program. It's a program that tracks how long the computer is in use, and from what I can tell, can also break down the total amount of time a program is used as well.

it's written in C++, and from what the website shows it doesn't leave registry entries. based on that it's sounds pretty much portable as it is, but a .paf format would be nice

FileZilla 3.0.2

Just a thought ...

I was wondering when FileZilla might be updated to the 3.0 release. There have been some very nice changes since 2.x. At any rate, it would be nice to "update" the FileZilla PE to 3.0.x.

Note: It has been a good bit since it was released, so we aren't talking a "brand new" software version. (sorry I just read the guidelines and wanted to stress I wasn't talking about a very recent software release)

WinEyes

Submitted by millarrp on October 15, 2007 - 7:29pm

It's a windows port of Xeyes that's found in Unix. For those that's never heard of it before (like me before I found it), it's a set of eyes that will follow the mouse pointer around the screen. I figured that if nothing else, it should give a few moments of pointless fun.

It looks like it's written in C++, and according to the website it's released under the GPL.

it is located at:
http://jackhard.freehostia.de
it enables Vista Areo on XP systems, it would be nice so I could add some pizazz to my school computers when I am logged on, It's really realistic (as in Vista-Like)
The author also says "Do you have the boring Windows 2000 or XP, and wish it looked like Windows Vista? Or are you stuck with the Windows Home Vista Basic Version without the Aero feature? Maybe you just want to give your existing system a finishing touch... If so, you need the new VystalVivid.
VystalVivid gives your borders the Aero Glass effect just by one click.

[Self-Promotion] Include Nawras Files Splitter

I think the software "Nawras Files Splitter v4.0" must be included in your apps list and your apps suite, because it helps us to split any file into smaller parts but also assembling them without using any program as long you are assembling them on a Windows-PC.
Please note that the version 4 is not published yet, but it's going to be soon.
If you want to have a beta version, please write a request to [Email address removed by moderator RM: No self promotion on these forums]
