open source game:
pushover

a fun game that i like to play when i was younger

Pushover is a fun puzzle game originally published by Ocean in 1992. In this game you control an ant that can walk along platforms that are connected with ladders. On those platforms are dominos that need to fall according to some rules.

  • All dominos must fall and none must crash into another

Could you create an app which allows you to update certain software's without having admin rights, for example I need to update my "Direct X runtime". However I do not have admin rights so it doesn't let me, could you make apps like this for certain things?

Drop it portable

Submitted by snacdaws on February 22, 2013 - 12:52pm

i was wondering if someone wanted to make a DropIt portable

drop it is a file sorting program so that people can sort files by extensions i.e. .exe, .lnk, .zip

it is on sourceforge so i do believe that it is freeware

i do use it and it is free

if anyone want's to try it or to see if they want to make it portable they can look on sourceforge

if no one can find it i will post a link to the page

the latest version as of this post is 4.7

they do have a portable version but i think it would be a great addition here

Forward file extension handlers to System

Submitted by nickreserved on February 11, 2013 - 12:49pm

Many of us, use PortableApps on their PCs because of:
- One click to update all.
- If you format the drive and reinstall OS, you don't need to install everything from scratch.
- Just copy the folder PortableApps to another PC and you are ok!
- Plus, there is no need to install non-portable app in any PC.

So, I believe in an Settings option which forward file extension handlers for PortableApps applications to system.

E.g. If 7-ZipPortable handles extensions *.7z and *.zip, then with one click in PortableApps Settings these extensions forward to Windows.
