I Need A Video Converter That Keeps The FPS At 60.

Submitted by iTzPepsii on November 12, 2012 - 9:04pm

I need a video converter, that converts my videos recorded with my AVerMedia C281 Game Capture HD, which records in .avi but I need to open it with Sony Vegas 11 Pro, so basically I need a Portable Video Converter to put on my external hard drive, to convert .avi to .mp4 or .wmv but keep it at 60FPS.
When I used Ultimate Video Converter Portable and WonTube, but neither of them go above 30FPS.

Hello,
Would anyone want Spotify as a portable app? I'll contact them, and request permission to make it portable. Will update if I hear back.

Update: I have contacted them, waiting to hear back.

Xidel 0.6 released (cli "webscraper" and XQuery engine)

Submitted by BeniBela on November 9, 2012 - 9:00am

I just made a new release of my Xidel, a command line tool for extracting data from web/html sites, supporting XQuery 1, XPath 2, CSS 3 selectors and pattern-matching.

E.g. you can get a list of all portable apps here with css selectors and xpath:

   xidel https://portableapps.com/apps -e 'css(".content")/h2/following-sibling::ul/li/a'

Or only css: (but Xidel is mainly a XPath/XQuery processor, the css part is not really tested => I bet you can find some bugs there):
