Picasa Portable

Submitted by PortableApps User on June 18, 2012 - 4:13pm

I was on my computer and I decided to try the pre-installed Picasa Picture Viewer. I was impressed by it and would love to use it on every computer I use. I found a post for Picasa Portable which also had a download link but the post was outdated and the link no longer working.

Could anyone try to make Picasa by Google Portable?

Portable apps for Linux

Submitted by TheWildCat on June 15, 2012 - 10:33am

It seems to me like all the portable apps on this website are for the windows OS's. I don't know if the creators of the portable apps are fans of Windows, but I would think that people would like to use portable apps without downloading Wine for Linux.

Long story short is it too much to ask to have portable apps for other OS's other than Windows?

CPU-Z/GPU-Z System Profiler Utilities

Submitted by Inferno986return on June 14, 2012 - 7:18am

Hi PortableApps.com,

I have been using your cool suite for quite a while now and would like to request some apps for your collection. For this entry I would like to request CPU-Z and its counterpart GPU-Z.

I have seen several unofficial implementations of CPU-Z and GPU-Z, but I would like to have this application in the official "Get Apps" section.

Following the example template as shown in this thread: https://portableapps.com/node/4507

Program: CPU-Z
