NetPad-Office App Submission Request

Submitted by Tylegoguy on August 27, 2012 - 1:02pm

I have created the application NetPad-Office.
NetPad was designed to function similar to Microsoft's Notepad and Wordpad combined. NetPad has the ability to create html, txt, and rtf files for use by the user.
Because of my inability to advertise my product on the internet and other sources i would like to submit it as a mobile app to the general public via PortableApps.
I've been a proud user of PortableApps for a year now and thought that it might be possible for me to submit an application for the benefit of others.

List of Open Source Game
I don't think it a full list, but it very close to that.

I think why not making every one of them (it they have binary for windows, and have the licences to do that) to make them Portable at portableapps.com format.

some of the games already done (some at official release and some at dev test)

Make PrimoPDF portable?

Submitted by ledenjes on August 20, 2012 - 5:57am

At http://www.primopdf.com/ I found a free program to convert almost every file into PDF. It's completely free. You can even download the source file (at the bottom of the page, "PrimoPDF Source") so I guess this program is completely free of any licenses.

Could you make this program portable? I know there is OpenOffice.org but it doesn't do the job as well as PrimoPDF (the PDF doesn't always look completely alike and/or the PDF gets to 4 times as big as with PrimoPDF).

Thanks!

Thumbnail Database Viewer

Program: Thumbnail Database Viewer

License: Freeware

Description: This program lets you view Thumbs.db files and the thumbnails it contains. You can extract the thumbnail from the file and also set an association between the program and *.db files. Very minimalistic and compact requiring just a single .exe and a single .dll. If you wish, I can create the required portable version but I'm sure you guys can produce a much more polished version a lot quicker than I can!

DocFetcher 1.1

Submitted by qforce on August 18, 2012 - 8:45am

Hi everyone,

I'm the project lead of DocFetcher and kindly request advice and help on how to create a Portable Apps version of this program. DocFetcher is an Open Source desktop search application written in Java that allows you to search the contents of files on your computer.

A portable edition of the program is already available, but may need some additional work to make it Portable Apps compliant.
