Request Apps

Is there a way to provide some sort of security lock for the Portable App Platform when I'm away from the computer. I have a feeling that the net administrators randomly log into workstations where I'm employed. I do use TrueCrypt for ALL of my files, but am the paranoid type who can't get enough protection.

If this is not possible, I will just dismount the TC volumn as I have been doing.

Can an option be added to the Portable App Platform to auto start programs that I specify? I seem to be starting the same applications on a regular basis with the platform and would like to see something similar to auto start with a computer.

It would be great to see DropBox as a Portable App, especially since it is on all phones and pc iterations

Pencil... or another program to make animations like cartoons or animated movies.

Unless I've missed something we have a severe lack of RSS / News readers (Decent ones). I've been using BRIEF in FireFox for a while now, but I want to seperate it out to make my FF experience much more streamlined.

Any1 know good portable firewall? Are real-time AVs and firewalls and PORTABLE oxymorons? Any1 claiming at anytime (even with future technologies) are scam artists? B4 every1 starts knocking me , remember the advantages of PAFs: easy duplicating app setups from 1 machine to another, easy uninstalling, no registry mucking up, etc, etc. yeah i see these benefits still outweigh any of the standard reasons for not PAFing a given app. But then I'm not a coder, haha

It would be really good if PortableApps.com made Kdenlive for windows and made it portable. I love Portable Apps because I can take my software and files anywhere I want.

I would also like there to be portable Safari because others are requesting that and I really like that browser.
