OpenLieroX http://sourceforge.net/projects/openlierox/ is kind of like Worms, and is pretty fun. It already comes in its own portable .zip container, so all you would have to do is create the right shortcuts, add the PA splashscreen, and then put it in a .paf.

There needs to an Ogg Vorbis CD ripper program on portable apps.

It is Open source, so I think it would be the perfect addon.

I can't believe this hasn't already been requested or talked about but I can't find anything in the search.

What I would like to see is a proper portable Twitter app.

I know you can use a add-on for portable Firefox or the IM bot for use with Portable Pidgin, but nether of these offer the features of a dedicated twitter client (such as Twitteroo for example).

I have also searched the web ("Googled") for a 'portable' twitter but haven't been able to find anything which would fit the bill.

If anyone has I am happy to be corrected!

it's been some time since I last heard anything about a Portable Miro or Portable Handbrake. Can they be made portable? If so, why hasn't anyone tried it yet? Go to http://www.opensourcewindows.org for info and download links.

well songbird 0.5 has now been released and I guess I could do it, but my request is for John to make this a portable app since he is very familiar with all of the mozilla based apps and this is such a popular one.

They have since then 'locked things down'...

now MacroMaker no longer has perms to get to the Registry...

If it were stand-alone, and read/wrote configs and macros to it's own directory, i could still use it...
