I'm used Seamonkey Portable 2.53.23 on SanDisk Ultra Luxe (Gen 1 ?)
Today, i'm closed Seamonkey, and extract USB-flash after a while some 15 second.

Now, i'm looked: my Bookmarks and Magazine visited Web-pages not available, "...because one of the files is being used by another application."

It overwrites my policies.json with its own policies.json when I manually update/install over older version of r3dfox on Windows 7.

This version in fact is not portable. It writes itself to the Windows registry making it not truly portable. Any restrictions or limitations within the Windows Chrome Policies located in the registry such as managing the browser by administrator will be carried over to this version. Using Windows 11 x64 and Windows 10 x64.

Full disclosure is needed now with these apps that they are not fully portable, rather it gives users the illusion of being portable.

Lines 31-32: $6 and $7 already included drive letter. $0 and $1 become x:x:\...\r3dfoxPortable
Lines 28-29: The "And" condition means if I move the app directory to another directory in the same drive, no path adjustment will be made. IMO it is not correct.

The new release is not working as a result of the programs FreeDownloadManager folder as located within the App subfolder of the fdmPortable folder missing all its folders with that i mean the files that should be directly within the folder are there but all the folders that should be there and the files in those folders are missing after an instalation as compared to the previous release.

I need to make some fundamental changes to a PHP script on my website.
For this, I'd like to install XAMPP portable. However, I see that portable apps
is currently only offering the relatively old version 1.7 from 2018.
Version 8.2, released in November 2024, is already available.

Is there any chance that portable apps will offer this newer version soon?

I was installing some apps for the first time on a new computer, never had a problem before with portableapps.com on other computers, but now when supermium was being installed windows detected: Trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A on the supermium temporary directories that are made during the installation, hope this doesn't become recurrent since this and another application the utility whynotwin11 "updated" and was carrying a another Trojan, now there are several apps asking for update today, and that becomes suspicious.

r3dfox v146.0.0 - Firefox Translations add-on don't works.
(This add-on is broken also with Firefox Portable).

The 'Firefox Translations' add-on ver. 1.3.4 build id 20230720.091143 (September 7, 2024) don't works in r3dfox Portable.

I want to raise a concern and suggest an improvement regarding qBittorrent Portable:

When using the Search feature in qBittorrent Portable, the app tries to install Python on the host system.

This behavior breaks PortableApps’ own guidelines, because the app modifies the host system rather than being fully self-contained.

The downloaded copy of Opera GX is not valid and can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete.

Either the upload to the server(s) failed, or the hash is incorrect.
