Hi, PortableApps are nice, thanks!

I have two problems to report.

(1) I installed PortableApps and Chrome Portable in my Windows 11, use some days.
When I switch OS to my Windows 10 on the same PC（on another disk partition），
When I launch Chrome Portable, It prompt me that some config will be reset.
and I have no other choice, I clicked reset, then I lost all opened tabs and passwords...
This problem is confusing me, please resolved it if possible.

Chrome Browser Beta - Version 129.0.6668.12 for Windows x64 - 404 file not found when downloading through both installer and download.

Please advise.

Hi Guys (John!),

The Print Preview fails on both Opera and OperaGX. I have created the file OperaGXPortable.ini in the same folder of OperaGXPortable.exe containing this:

[OperaGXPortable]
AdditionalParameters=--disable-features=PrintCompositorLPAC

and the problem is resolved~.

Can you roll out the same fix as the one back in May 2024 for Google Chrome for both Opera and OperaGX?

Hello!

Librewolf optionally uses an overwrite file, which modifies the config of the current profile at every launch.

On a Windows install, it is located at %USERPROFILE%\.librewolf\librewolf.overrides.cfg
(When using the "official" portable version from librewolf.net, it is located at Profiles\Default\librewolf.overrides.cfg )

I have tried multiple times (6+ times) and always get the same error for Opera GX 111.0.5168.99 (03/AUG/2024): "The downloaded copy of Opera GX is not valid and can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete."

It attempts to download the update twice and re-tries after the "Verifying" step.

I have tried updating Skype via the PortableApp GUI. I have also tried downloading via the website.

I keep getting errors that the download is not valid and skype is not able to update. Is it just me or is something wrong with the Skype install via sPortable?

Adding more info. Appears it shoule be around 90MB. However when I download it. It appears to be around 692kb.

Version 8.122.0.205 for Windows, Multilingual
90MB download / 285MB installed

seems that supermium and iron can not run at the same time
they seem to be too similar

is this so?
