Internet Apps Support

maybe you can give some pointers to this problem:
I have Google Chrome Portable 64-bit Stable (Test) on a separate HDD, along with the rest of the PortableApps suite, and since about the last 3 updates, the extensions keep getting deactivated. They even don't show up in the list, it's like they were deleted or can't be accessed (they are still on the HDD, i checked).
I can reinstall them and they stay for the current session, but as soon as i close and restart the app, they are gone again.

How do we disable CONSTANT notifications that "To get future Google Chrome updates, you'll need Windows 10 or later. This computer is using Windows 8.1."

There are a million reasons why certain machines will *never* get updated from Windows 8.1.
The last version of Google Chrome without this nag is 107.0.5304.122.

Sadly, the solution does not appear to work on Portable Chrome, only full install Google Chrome.

Can this be incorporated into the Portable version of Google Chrome:

I am using Google Chrome Portable from PortableApps.com at work (the package without the PortableApps.com platform)
I can use Google Chrome Portable without any problems (open any website is possible).

in the past I was able to download the installer and update the current version manually.
Currently the installer of Google Chrome Portable 107.0.5304.63 (GoogleChromePortable_107.0.5304.63_online.paf.exe) can not download Google Chrome.

That's not all that far away. It would seem that we are heading into a situation that will heavily pressure people to abandon Windows 7. Personally I'm thinking I might move over to Linux. Struggling with the nightmare that is Windows 10 at my age seems not an attractive proposition.

I had ThunderbirdPortable.exe etc on Drive d:\MyApps\Thunderbird and moved it to C:\MyApps\Thunderbird (new SSD).
The old ThunderbirdPortable.ini entry was "ProfileDirectory=..\..\MyAppData\Tb\Profile" . Readme.txt says:

One of my financial websites no longer accepted version 101+ and forced me to go to version 105 and up. I just installed the latest version 106+ and 3 websites so far are hanging including the financial website, wunderground.com and youtube. Adblock plus also is no longer blocking even after I re-installed it. I normally NEVER download the latest version but could not find an earlier portable version from 105+ on. I had to use microsoft edge to get on the financial website. Is there any recent older version I can access? No being to access youtube is a deal breaker.

Is there possible to distribute the complete version with Tor?

Because without running Tor or I2P, you can't run the hidden node mode. But if you need to set up a local version of Tor manually. That's not portable.

Just wondering why are the following options enabled by default:

1. Check for program updates - might it not break PortableApps' internal updates?
2. Log file - why would PortableApps users want to save a log (especially for BT)?

Please help me. I set up profiles and important data for each Google Chrome Portable.

But today when I reopen them, it just reopens the default Chrome Portable (i.e. empty Chrome with no data).
