Why does qBittorent Portable not use qBittorent's portable version?
As qBittorrentPortable.ini shows, qBittorent Portable is all over the registry and app data folders, not to mention a whole custom code in custom.nsh.

I think the previous versions worked. But this version looks like it's only an ad.
Tested on Win7 32-bit
Lagrange portable appears to run, I see its icon in the task bar, but its window isn't displayed onscreen (only one screen). I suspect that I once opened it in a multi-monitor environment, and I don't know how to force it to move back to the main screen. Any ideas?
I suppose I *could* just uninstall it then reinstall which should get rid of any config settings it has saved... but that's the annoying possible way to fix it
Hi,
After Opera browser update, i have a message "launcher not found" ("ERREUR : App\Opera\launcher.exe non trouvé" in French). How to resolve this problem ?
Thank.
Due to work requirements, I am currently looking for Google Chrome Portable version 80. If anyone has the source, could you please share it with me? I have tried downloading it from this website, but encountered an error during the installation process.
Hi, despite having done what an user suggested = copy Chrome.ini to the same folder as Chrome.exe, I continue to receive this message:
Error during upgrading: Upgrade fails due following (código do erro 1: 0X80004005).
More:
Versão 122.0.6261.70 (Versão oficial) 64 bits
That's it. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled again. Doesn't make any difference.
thanks for any help

Hallo,
Hi, my PortableAppsMenu said there was a Telegram 4.14.13 release available.
When I click:
https://portableapps.com/news/2024-02-05--telegram-desktop-portable-4.14...
It redirects me to:
https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/telegram-desktop-portable
But only 4.14.12 is listed or downloading.
I use Chrome Portable because official Chrome doesn't let me choose an install location and I don't want my user data on my C: drive. I recently learned you can use the --user-data-dir argument in a shortcut to specify a profile location in official Chrome which would basically make it like a portable version.
Since I'm already using Chrome Portable I wonder if I should bother. Is one more private and secure than the other? I can see that Chrome Portable's data is temporarily in AppData while in use and then after I close the browser the folder gets deleted.
There are multiple copies of Chrome portable I need to regularly update within my househould. Even though we have fast internet, the online updater is often very slow. And having to deal with that on multiple PCs with every single update is becoming an annoying time sink. Is there any way to get an offline version like Firefox?
