Hello to everybody,

I've installed Portable GAIM and copied the settings from my desktop version using the procedure described in the page about Portable GAIM.

In the desktop version I've intalled Guification, that is a plugin that implement notification over the system tray icon of Portable GAIM. Altough I can see plugin settings in the GAIM preference guification doesn't notify anything: any hints?

Is it possible to have the spelling dictionary and what not on the USB drive with Portable GAIM in a way that I don't have to install Spelling on every computer that I use it on?

Hi,
I am able to connect up with my other IM (MSN, Yahoo, ICQ) But not with Gtalk (Following the GTalk conection for Gaim, at Gtalk).
Any Ideas?

I've just started using portableGaim today, and when i start it, i get a "Windows - No Disk" error window - "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive". clicking CONTINUE starts up GAIM with no apparent problems. I get the error whether I run it from my flash drive or from my local PC.

any ideas?

hi i've gone well through installation of gaim portable but unable to connect to yahoo, msn,...! when i signon there is a message after searching that ive been disconnected. what should i do? thanks a lot

When I launch PortableFilezilla that comes with Portable Apps Suite 1.0 Beta, I see a PortableFilezilla splash screen for a couple of seconds, then nothing. The led on my USB drive stops flickering. There is a FileZilla process that's still running, but I can't kill it. My task manager crashes, in fact, when I try to "End Process" the FileZilla.exe process! I've never seen that happen before, ever. I'm running Windows 2000.

Just wanted to let those you us out there using the meanwhile protocol that Gaim 2.0 beta 2 has the plugin built in. No more applying the plugin after the fact.
