I waited long time for this new version

do I have to do anything special to enable it?

Running Windows XP SP2, Portable Gaim 2.0.0.beta2

I have a Linux and a windows partition, I there a way that a can use my PortableGaim also for Linux (So I can use the same PortableGaim on windows and on Linux) ?

Out of frustration, I've created a small package that includes the Guifications plugin for Portable Gaim 1.5 -- it's available here, and the MD5 checksum is: 90666fbd3fc169a236661c13f28f71d7

Simply extract the contents of this 7-Zip archive on top of the existing directories underneath ./gaim. You can grab additional Guifications themes here.

I'm having a problem with portable gaim crashing on my home PC (running Win XP home edition). The splash screen is displayed, I get an hourglass and then nothing happens. I've tried downloading a fresh zip and installing it, and it doesn't seem to work. I had no problem with it until last night. I had regular gaim installed on the same machine as well, and now that won't start, either. I've tried removing GTK and completely reinstalling. Any ideas what's going on?

The smileys in Portable Gaim 2 don't work because the "theme" file in \pixmaps\gaim\smileys\default is missing.

Just add this file from a normal Gaim 2 installation and the smileys will start working fine.

I've downloaded the PG Multilingual Version. This version is 5 MB bigger then the english version. But I don't need every language, that is supported. I just need german. Is it possible to uninstall/delete the other languages?

I just downloaded the 2.0 Version of PG but I cannot see the buddynames in my list? Is there something in the settings or do I have to enter the names on every single buddy?
The buddys are all from ICQ.

I just downloaded portable Gaim 2.0 multilingual and it has some problems.

I was using portable Gaim 1.5 and I just copied all my old setting into new directory. This works fine.

But the problems are:

- there is no OTR support (or I am blind? - I can't see it among plugins)

- there is no gaim-encryption support. I think there should be because of compatibility. A lot of people is still using it (OTR is still new), and if we want to be compatible with them, it is important to have it)

- there is no default smileys and I am also not able to import them. I go to Tools>Preferences>Smiley Themes (or sth like that - I am using localised version of Gaim), and drag&drop themes there. But they do not appear anywhere.
