Been using two copies of Chrome portable I downloaded from this website for some time, seeing as I just can't keep my tabs usage under control, so when I need to actually get something done I just usually copy paste the portable browser to a new folder, and run a new clean session of it.

I have noticed the new version is not included in portable apps?

I've been experimenting with Sylpheed, and am impressed with its functionality.

Because it can store sensitive information (such as your email password in plain text) in its ..\Data\Profile folder, I want to have it store all its data in a location that is not a subfolder of ..\PortableApps\SylpheedPortable.

I have been trying to figure out how to do this.

Hey guys, I'm currently having an issue with my crypto wallet extension in chrome after syncing the email address on it. Is there any way I can check the extensions settings on my google account? If not where it may store? Thank you alot.

Since yesterday, chrome has not been opening. No errors, no pop ups, nothing. Filefox, Opera, Thunderbird and other apps are working fine.

Please advise.

Found a problem that Filezilla does not terminate its parent process and it hangs until I restart the PC or until I manually kill the process. When FileZilla starts, it creates a new process and works with it. It does not kill other processes.

Found that Opera Portable is vulnerable to profile reset and corruption due to its implementation of profile directory using [DirectoriesMove] in the launcher.

Have tested that Opera Portable launcher works well with below argument in the OperaPortable.ini (remember to comment out [DirectoriesMove])
CommandLineArguments=--user-data-dir=%PAL:DataDir%\profile

This should improve Opera Portable startup speed and reduce profile corruption.

Hope to see this in the next update.

How do you get Sylpheed to save the password for its accounts?
I do not see an option to save password.
As long as I have Sylpheed open it saves passwords but as soon as I close it, I have to re-enter all the passwords for each account.

Been using Chome Portable for a few months no problems but one, lost Tabs on open when settings "Continue where you left off"
twice now. Restore will bring them back temporarily but keeps opening with no tabs. Tried Save taps open closed, open, good, change back to "Continue where you left off" but still not remembering them.
any ideas?
