I don't know the release version of the previous OperaGX launcher (the actual exe) but I could call Launcher.exe and feed it an unquoted url to have it open a new tab in an already running OperaGX. The last update somehow messed with that as it now opens a new OperaGX window which seemingly uses a totally different profile.

So I tried getting around this by simply calling OperaGXPortable.exe from within my program.
The funny thing is, if I pass an unquoted url, it ends up in OperaGX as a link with folder of the calling program prepended, like

I installed the Opera GX portable app, and when opening the "OperaGXPortable.exe" file, it shows a startup screen with the logo, in a small black box, then just closes. I reopen the file to the same error. Any solutions?

I am trying to install the version in subject above and I am receiving the following message during download and installation:
The downloaded copy of Skype is not valid and can not be installed. Please try installing again.

I have tried to install it on other devices as well but I am retrieving the same message during installation. I have tried also with older version but with the same result.

Please help.

I have K_meleon installed.
When a new version is released it does not appear when I "Check for updates".
I notice that the version number is not changing, only the suffix date.

Hello. On my job I often work on different PC's, so I've installed Google Chrome on my USB flash drive.
But unfortunately when I starting Google Chrome on new PC, I see that I logged off from Google Account and all the websites.
I read instructions and put GoogleChromePortable.ini in folder with .exe (PortablePasswords=true). But there is no results.
Firefox by the way keep me logged in very well.

So is it true that Google Chrome can't keep me logged in ? Or is there workaround?

OperaGX is no longer deleting the temporary profile in PortableApps\OperaGXPortable\App\OperaGX folder.

The presence of this undeleted Profile folder causes my OperaGX browser not load at startup until I manually delete it each time I need to use the browser.

The problem started with the last update.

A fresh install does not fix the problem.

Since the last update of the Opera browser, it is no longer possible to upload videos via native Whats App. Please check this issue.
