Hey all,

Is anyone have trouble with Chrome Portable resetting to default when moving from PC to PC? What is happening specifically is stuff like my extensions will disappear but will retain their settings when reinstalled and saved passwords are cleared. The only thing that seems to be retained from PC to PC is cookies and browsing history.

Anyone else see this? Current version: 62.0.3202.94

I can not view any videos or movies at Amazon wit QupZilla 2.2.2, I like the speed of the browser and would like to be able to view Amazon or YouTube. Can anyone help. I am using it on Windows 7 32bit.

Does anybody know how I can change the Chrome default taskbar icon?

I've tried changing it in App\AppInfo\appicon.ico, then I rebuilt the icons cache, but it did not work =/;

Any suggestions?

I've just downloaded Google Chrome Portable and is working really well, but I can't log in in my google account so I can't have my bookmarks, my history and all the settings that I have in my other Chrome devices.
If i try to log in it appears a blank screen and i can't do anything on that tab

Setup: Win10x64, Microsoft Lync (aka Skype for Business) and Office 365 installed

Has anyone else seen this? I got an update notice while running sPortable that I believe just installed regular Skype. I uninstalled regular skype and the prompt returned.

Yesterday, Signal announced a stand alone app has been released (https://www.signal.org/blog/standalone-signal-desktop/).

I was just curious if anyone was working, or planning, to package it as a portable app? This would be my final step in my migration away from Chrome.

Sylpheed is really a very good email client, but the passwords of the mailboxes are unfortunately stored unencrypted in a text file (accountrc, accountrc.bak, ...).

This is a big security risk!

Is there a setting that stores encrypted passwords? If not, I think it's better to use another email client!
