PortableApps browsers & Windows Firewall with Advanced Settings

Hi,

I use Windows Firewall with Advanced Settings and I don't know enable connection for PortableApps browsers.

I use task manager to find the exe browser (FirefoxPortable/App/Firefox64/firefox.exe, OperaPortable/App/Opera/46.0.2597.32/opera.exe or K-MeleonPortable/App/K-Meleon/k-meleon.exe) and I create a rule to allow this exe to connect to HPPT & HTTPS (TCP 80 & 443) like a resident browser. But it can't connect.

I think that PortableApps browers use a Windows service to connect, but which one ?

Skype installer "sendrequest error"

The last installer of Skype portable does not work properly, after selecting the location, and clicking on the installer will show the error "sendrequest error"

I do not use proxy, firewall disabled, still the same error "sendrequest error"

Google Chrome display errors

Hey guys,

I have a problem with Chrome portable. On some sites (Google Drive unfortunatly, too) it has massive display errors like black areas or insivible content. The installed version worked fine. Does someone know what the problem might be?

Here are some details:
- Chrome is running from a SD card and integrated in the PortableApps Suite
- This computer has an Atom graphics card (had some problems with it before trying to install Linux)

If you need more information please ask!

& c:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome Cleanup Tool\

on portablefreeware , there is a JohnTHaller's answer
There was a Crashpad issue causing the APPDATA directory to be left behind that was fixed in today's releases related to 2016-04-08 13:25

sPortable with PDM:Worm.Win32 BSS.ScreenLock

Kaspersky Total Security 17.0.0: "Обнаружена вредоносная программа; PDM:Worm.Win32.BSS.ScreenLock (...) \app\skype\phone\skype.exe". skype.exe is deleted, and "Skype Portable | PortableApps.com": "Skype Portable cannot be started, You may wish to re-install to fix this issue, (ERROR: Skype.exe could not be found)".

First of all thanks for your work. I don't demand nothing but I would like to know if this application is followed or it was abandoned. After every update of the application elapse a lot of time before to have the portable version, when we have it.
