Internet Apps Support

I had Chrome 58 installed and ran the installer to upgrade it and it failed during the upgrade and now has completely destroyed the install and nothing works now. Here is the log:

Well I can't post the log because it keeps bitching that it triggered the spam filter, which is kind of dumb for a support forum.

So why did this fail and how am I supposed to recover the installation that is now completely corrupt and broken?

(I Googled and found a fare few people wanting this with none of the methods working completly. So did a bit of research.)

Normally if you use Google Chrome Portable then make "Google Chrome" the default browser app via "Windows Settings" it opens the normal Chrome (the one in C:\Path\PortableApps.com\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin\chrome.exe) and uses the profile in \Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome.

When you transfer chrome portable USB stick from one PC to another, if I open the settings a message appears:
"Some settings have been reset
Chrome has detected that some settings have been corrupted by another program and restored them to their default defaults "What does it mean?

Opera, Portable Edition 47.0.2631.55 (web browser) is include trojen?
My antivirus (Tencent PC Manager -It is using bitdefender ingine-) says it has a trojen.

I have the following request about Iron browser.

When we have the browser opened, but instead of give CTRL-T
we do a click in a app outside of the browser, it gives a extra
window but in this window it is not possible have any cookies
or logins of the browser. I think it is a bug.

Could you folks correct it?

Maybe contacting the Iron developers?

qBittorrent Portable 3.3.13 после установки с помощью PortableApps.com Platform и его непосредственного запуска помещает файлы настройки в системный профиль пользователя на жестком диске (в данном моем случае при установленной Windows XP SP3 32-bit системные настройки сохраняются по двум путям: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\qBittorrent\ и С:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\). При этом после выхода из qBittorrent Portable папки самоудаляются.

But autoupdate system was broken, and manual update needed.

For the second time within two months I had a problem with Google Chrome Portable: after doing an update Chrome won't work.

Removing and re-update is not possible; there is one file that I cannot remove (not even as an administrator).

That file is C:\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin/chrome.exe

After several attempts I realised that this file might be corrupted. Performing a CHKDSK /F (which runs at least an hout on my PC) solved the problem: CHKDSK removed the file.

In case if portable Google Chrome is loaded, portable SRWare Iron can not be started with an error that 'another instance of Iron is already running': "Please close other instances of Iron before launching Iron portable" the message says.

Can this be fixed? Thanks!
