1.Set all my "PortableApps.com"-Apps as default apps on Windows 8 & 10 Computers
...is there a simple way of tool with does this automatically
...f.e. if I click a link in the mail in my Thunderbird Portable so it opens my Portable Chrome Browser,

How does FileZilla Portable handle the 32/64-bit update in 3.10.3

Submitted by surreal on March 31, 2015 - 8:57pm

3.10.3-beta1 (2015-03-14)
New features:
FileZilla is now also available as 64bit Windows program. Users of 32bit FileZilla on 64bit Windows will get automatically migrated using the auto-updater

How does FileZillaPortable handle installation and update with this new feature added?

Since it is portable, does it just install and use 32-bit for the best compatibility between different systems?

Does it install 64-bit based on the initial install prep-system?

Pidgin: MSN, is it officially dead with 3rd party software?

Submitted by pete_pa on January 20, 2015 - 10:21am

I haven't used Pidgin much these days, so when I opened it recently I noticed none of my MSN contacts were online. I checked my accounts and saw that MSN was disabled. So I enable it, and it keeps showing an error message. I thought it was because of 2-step verification, so I turned that off, and still get the error. I read all about MSN messenger shutting down, but I just assumed 3rd party software would still have it running somehow.

The error message is: "Connection error from Notification server: Connection refused."
