It looks like Notepad++ now (as of 7.6.3) supports the portable apps plugin structure in the way we hoped (inside the portable folder structure).

What's weird is it starts, after updating through the PA launcher from 7.59 to 7.6.3, by acting like none of the plugins are there and presents the new Plugin Admin interface. Once I use that to install plugins, and restart the app, the Plugin Admin disappears from the Plugins menu and all of my recent opened docs, both the history on the menu bar and the opened files, are lost/closed.

jPortable is advertised as "jPortable allows you to easily add a Java® runtime environment to your portable device" - HOW ???
I want to install an exe specifically "i2pinstall_0.9.37_windows.exe" from website"https://geti2p.net/en/download#windows"
(which requires Java Runtime Version 7 or higher to even install)
but jPortable launcher only launches JAR files, not EXE files, and there is no apparent way to run the Portable Java Runtime Environment and then install an .exe

I didn't find a way to search this forum so if there is already such topic then I apologize.

I downloaded Notepad++ v. 7.6 and because it doesn't have built-in update manager anymore I tried to install it manually:

I upgraded np++ today but the plugin manager is missing. So wether I could use alredy installed plugins nor I could install them again. OK I could copy/move the files from plugin's folder to %LOCLAPPDATA% and rebuild the new plugin architecture. But new plugin manager is still missing.

1. Can't save language setting (switch language file in preferences).
2. Make some translated strings empty (like platform CHS locale file).
3. Creat not necessary line break with the empty line(line break) when saving.

My system/Avast antivirus says that there is some Win32 Malware in the JDownloader (Portable) where to report?

error window = no language file found
settings = saveing of; view, toolbar, favorites are all eratic

so i thought the lady or gent who did this excellent work writing this program is probably still doing excellent work.

When using the DSpellCheck plugin, it seems that I must use "Settings" to re-download the dictionary every time that Notepad++ is restarted. This is true irrespective of whether setting specify "For All Users" or "For Current User". I think this started with upgrade to 7.5.6. Is it possible to revert back to previous version?

If I set Notepad ++ from English to German, confirm and restart Notepad ++, Notepepad ++ will be displayed again in English.
