Downloaded and tried the Portable Apps Installer.

The fields to input the app's name, id etc are all password fields... I guess they should be text fields right?

Also, then the installer crashes.

Using Windows 10.

Kindly advise.

Chrome updates delete my extensions using the PortableApps Platform deletes my extensions. This shouldn't happen.

I'm not sure if its considered a fo-pah to ask this or not. But I installed the portable netbeans too, from a couple of years ago, and its giving me an error.

Every time I try to start it up, it says that it can't find java 1.7 or higher.

Hello everybody,

I tried to update to DSynchronize V2.32.7, downloaded file have 888kb.
Every time when I start the uipdate I got an errrormessage, that I don't have acces to the file and maybe the rights are not enough.
I am Admin on my PC.

Anybody who can check this?

First of all, I've already seen some other threads regarding similar issue, but none gave me any working solution. Oh, and let's call my game "AppNamePortable". As for game's data folder, I'll go with simply "[datafolder]".

So, I decided to make one game portable. Using the template and generating the launcher went smooth and without any problems.

This is particularly relevant to the DSpellCheck dictionaries, but it also applies to PluginManager settings.

If I understand correctly, the NP++ Portable launcher is intended to copy the saved settings directory X:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config to the working settings directory X:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\App\Notepad++\plugins on startup, and save the working directory to the save location on shutdown.

This is not working for me.

NUV or Kompozer is not downloading from site. whether site is wrong or some error.
I have tried several times in the past week no use. please fix this.

The config file containing settings (and sessions) for the NppFTP plugin goes missing once in a while - seems that the entire "App\Notepad++\plugins\config\NppFTP" folder gets deleted.

This is very frustrating and causes a fantastic app to loose part of it's settings :/

and they click on tyhe hotlink to learn about NVU it sends one to a page not related to the web development software. it links to some Green manufacturing/building news site similar in style to techrepublic.com.
