Is there any reason why Windows Server 2003 cannot verify the publisher of PortableApps?
Can the scrolling of the menu go both ways with the mouse wheel? I've got so many I'm getting RSI going to the x-apps at the bottom
Great project!
Hi, I've been playing with NSIS for a few days now, and am trying to portablize an app that I would like to carry around with me on my flash drive.
I need some suggestions/leads on how to handle DLLs by the app in question. I found that putting all the DLLs in the app's directory seemed to work fine. Is that acceptable practice? Or should I have it in a separate directory and have the .NSI file tell the launcher where to find it?
Hola, disculpen pero no hablo ingles y estoy usando un traductor. Soy hispano y me gustaria contribuir de alguna forma en que el programa o el sitio web estuviera en español. espero sus respuestas y comentarios.

Hello, they excuse but I do not speak english and I am using a translator. I am Hispanic and liked to contribute to me of some form in which the program or the Web site was in Spanish I wait for its answers and commentaries.
I was wondering when will we get the script that compresses exes and dlls?
How do I set the icon of a paf.exe file?
I used both resource hacker and xn resource editor. (I couldn't get resource hacker to work but xn did.) I get a file that works but the PAM won't accept it. The file works before I set the icon but not after. How do I do this?
On my pc i there is a reference to the portable app menu, even after the drive has been removed for the computer
->Right click on start
->hit propterites
->hit taskbar
->hit customize
->in that list, you should see the portable app menu
I have created a portable version of Workrave that is ready for some testing. Workrave is a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The program frequently alerts you to take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.
I came across this the other day by accident. Definitely a nice little program to remind me to rest etc whilst I am at work busying away on the keyboard.
The self extracting archive can be downloaded from its current location.
I've been trying to make a launcher for KVIrc (its an open-source IRC client), but having problems. Firstly, so everyone knows what I did, I installed the program first onto my computer, made a copy of the program folder, then uninstalled it. When you run it for the first time it comes up with a Config wizard in which you select a IRC nickname (which can be changed later), the places you want to put its config files and downloads, and some other things.
I've been working with NSIS to compile launcher for KompoZer with Vista Compatability. I'm getting errors with "RequestExecutionLevel". How would I still compile this on Windows XP, or would someone with Vista compile it for me?
