Firefox Portable

Right now running 3.5.2 Portable Firefox. Even though I have disabled Auto Check for updates to Installed Add-Ons... it still seems to check for them. Seeing the same thing with Desktop Firefox.

Been meaning to bring this up for a bit, but it's such a minor inconvenience, I almost didn't bother. Finding myself bored, I figured I might toss it out there and see what it sticks to.

after dling this update, first thing i did was to see if it play vids. yt and ann vids work fine, but nico nico just gives me a message(dont know what it says, cant speak jpn) but im guessing it means it wont play at all

so what do i do now?

and is there some type of PORTABLE abode flash player that i could use?

Hi, regarding FF 3.52 portable... when I put Multi Instances to true then it doesn't have any positive effect. There pops up a message saying there is already another version running.

Is it a bug?

I'm running Firefox 3.5.2 off of my flash drive, and for some reason every minute or so it slows down and freezes for about 15-20 seconds, and then is fine for another minute. what's going on?

I upgraded to PortableFirefox 3.5.2 and everything was great until my "Find on Page" (CTRL + F) feature stopped working. This was several days after the upgrade. I press CTRL + F and the bar shows up at the bottom, but when I type my search term into it, all the buttons stay "greyed out" (unselectable).

Anybody have any ideas?

Strictly hypothetically speaking, if someone were to recompile Firefox without the logo and name, and thus not be bound by the restrictions on Portable Firefox, what direction would we hypothetically want this to go?

1. Updates would be disabled, as they interfere with an installed Firefox. (They could be manually enabled if someone wanted it so.)

2. Session restore and the phishing protection would be disabled, as well as cache and history. All would be able to be manually enabled, again, of course.
