Firefox Portable

Trying to download FFP V 3.0.1, for some reason sourceforge seems to not have any projects available.

I wish to start two copies Firefox Portable. How to me it to make?
Tell on items as it to make. Sorry for my bad English.

The security freaks have locked down my workstation to a point where I can't do my job! I tried ff portable live from a cd but got an alert box with an "application metering" message stating that this software was blocked! Any workarounds?

I have the show windows and tabs from last time option selected but it will only load my selected homepage everytime I load PFF3. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

I was nosing around my USB drive when I noticed that the Firefox portable INI file made this statement:

"The FirefoxExecutable entry allows you to set the Firefox Portable Launcher to use an alternate EXE call to launch firefox. This is helpful if you are using a machine that is set to deny firefox.exe from running. You'll need to rename the firefox.exe file and then enter the name you gave it on the firefoxexecutable= line of the INI."

whenever i click a link on windows (about boxes in programs) it open the firefox program and not firefoxportable.

how can we make them open the firefoxportable with the default settings ? or make firefox.exe (original) look in the profile directory of portable firefox ?

either way, i want to be able to open my links in the portable to retain all my preferences, etc

You can have multiple portable profiles in three little steps. Still, you won't be able to run them at the same time.

STEP 1 : Create the profiles

The normal architecture of the firefox portable folder is:

-FirefoxPortable
   -App
   -Data
   -Other

You need to create multiple "Data" folders (one for each profile) in firefox portable. You can either keep "Data" as the default folder, or just erase it. You can name the folders as you wish. You can replace profile1, profile2, profile3, by Serious, Naughty, extensionTester if you prefer.

My portable version keeps "forgetting" logins on sites. This is not the sites logging me out, but apparently the cookies disappearing.
Is that a known Firefox issue, a portable issue or am i just unlucky?

I am trying to download the portable firefox both ver. 2 and ver. 3 but the damn link takes me to sourceforge and then nothing gets downloaded...neither the direct link is working.

Please advise...I NEED to download the both versions of firefox.
