Firefox Portable

When I download something I cannot see it in the download manager though a pop-up says the download is complete.

I was wondering if people could give me some feedback on an issue Im seeing with FireFox it is damn freaky. To give you some background I had FireFox installed on my work machine and at home. Then the IT department in work got their knickers in a twist about having FireFox installed on machines (the genius's actually suggested using IE-7 if we wanted tabbed browsing) so I had to remove it. This is when I switched to portable FireFox.

i can`t login on site www.combats.com under FFP
it`s says that i can login under IE4.0+ only.
is it possible tell server that i using IE, and not ff???

PS: AgentSweatcher plugin dusn`t help

I`ve download FFP 2.0 from here.
I using it on many copmuters and i often go on my favorite sites.
I see that cache in \data\profile\Cache but! on other PC graphics is download like i wasn`t on this site
How to fix that?

And tell me plz where in firefox hot key menu?
Before i using Opera@Usb browser and it has some comfortable(for me) hot key witch i want use and in ff.

Before I installed Fx-P I made a folder for it not knowing it would make it's own folder. Is there a way I can move it out of that folder and leave it in it's original folder?

Back to Windows XP, I used this http://windowsxp.mvps.org/defaultbrowser.htm to set PFF as default browser.

This utility no longer runs on Vista: any hint?

How to set Tools/options/open with my home page which is a home page different from "http://www.firefoxportable.com/FirefoxPortable.exe"
When i put the adress of my preferred home page, it still open with"http://www.firefoxportable.com/FirefoxPortable.exe"

Hi all. I'm travelling round the world at the moment, and have just come across FFP - brilliant, as now I don't have to use IE in all the internet cafes! Anyway, my question is this:

I had installed Firefox Portable in my USB drive. I am using Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2 while running Firefox Portable.

My computer is only running Firefox Portable. Firefox Portable not fully exit after I press the close button. After I press the close button on the right top of Firefox Portable, then run Safely Remove Hardware before unplug my USB drive, an error message "the device ..... cannot be stopped right now. Try stopping .....". Then, I run Windows Task Manager and click the 'Processes' tab, I see that firefox.exe process is still running.
