Firefox Portable

Hi! I noticed that my FF Portable version is not the same with info in About... section. I have in About:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru-RU; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/2.0.0.14
But version is just installed 3.0.5 and it is update from 3.0.4.

I have FF Portable 3, which is working fine, as well as a standard Windows installation, also working fine.

However, I have strange problems with FF 2.0.0.2--

In the Google search bar in the upper right-hand corner of the browser, the automatic search suggestions no longer work.

When I try to access my Gmail, I get the message "This is taking longer than usual. Try reloading the page," and it never loads up.

Most frustratingly, when I visit a page with a Google ad, the entire browser freezes up and I have to close it with ctrl+alt+del.

I have a problem I have no idea how to begin to fix. I installed Firefox Portable 3.0.4 five days ago after I transferred all files on my USB to an external drive. This was because my old Firefox 3.0 which would run very reliably from a USB stick suddenly stopped working on Vista on my laptop. (Vista also crashed my USB stick regularly but that was a problem caused by other software on the stick) In an effort to correct this I installed a new (3.0.4) version of Firefox Portable and copied all files in the Data/profile directory across to the new version.

When I try to install it, it say something like Install script not found. How do I fix this? Is there another link I can possibly use?

For some odd reason some flash doesn't run in FF 3.0.4, yet it runs in Opera 9.62.

On the FF I have Flash 10 r12, which according to Adobe's site IS the latest one. Yet some flash does not play.

I just wanna ask if it possible RUN multiple Firefox PE simultaneously? , consider the appdata stored independently. Are there any conflicts would possible happen? Sorry for the ask, just dont wanna mess up with the setting. Nice day

I don't know how this happened. My firefox running fine as usual but just now when i opened it all the search engine was lost! i tried to restart it but it's still the same.

does anyone know how to restore all the default search engine? Coz the restore default button in manage search engine doesn't work and i can't find any google or yahoo search engine plugins in mozilla addons website.

BTW i'm using firefox 2.0.0.18

Are there plans to release a 3.1 beta 2 in portable form?

Alright, that's the issue: I can run firefox portable on the company computer, but of course it leaves the registry keys after being used.
Since firefox can 'write' them there without the administration account, how can I delete them from there again? I am thinking of a batch file maybe. But unfortuantely I cannot test stuff, but I don't want my admins to unveal my "dirty little secret", since then they'll find a way to block that as well, I'm sure!

Any quick help is absolutlely highly appreciated!

Hi, can't find any other reference to this anywhere but I'm having a problem with the last title popup on a page appearing when my cursor is hovered over anything on a page. If an item has a title attribute the title changes but then it persists until the cursor passes over another item with a title attribute and so on. This seems to have been introduced with 3.0.4 but I'm not sure if it's a Firefox or Portable Apps problem as I only run Portable Firefox under Windows on my office laptop. Any ideas?
