Thunderbird Portable

I posted this in the Thunderbird support forum, but haven't received a reply, and have an event with 200 people coming up in two days without access to my emails, so I hope no one's offended by the crosspost.

I am running Portable Thunderbird on a USB drive on OSX. Today it just crashed completely - got stuck opening a message. When I restarted, all my folders were gone, everything moves at a snail's pace, but my settings remained.

I know I have to compact my folders every now and then. I don't need or want this pop-up window. This is a maddening PITA.

I recently updated to v7.0.1 and notice that when I have an e-mail message open, and press either the Delete key on the keyboard or the Delete button in the application, it deletes the message and returns to the inbox.

Until this time, pressing either of these would delete the message and open the next unread message.

Was wondering if anyone was having a similar issue and if there was a fix. I've closed and restarted Thunderbird and have since restarted the computer with no change.

How do I delete a message in google without affecting my downloaded emails?

I installed thunderbidportable2ndprofile on my flash drive. After downloading all emails, I copied them to DVD. How do I get thunderbirdportable2ndprofile to look on the DVD and open those emails and folders instead of going on line again?

Some messages don't obey me when send to the spam folder.
Next continue the same.

How can I depure the cause of this type of problem ?

Recently i run in one problem.
Two folders in one account can't be loaded with no error message.
A have more accounts but in one particular ai can't load inbox and trash folder.
They appear to be loading, but never finish.

There is just the account begining page displayed.

Strange thing is that all the subfolders are working correctly.

There is one error in the Error Console which is repeated many times

I try repeatedly mark a message as trash message.

But when I received a new one again appear in the incoming tray.

What can I do when a filter or sending to trash don't go well.
