Notepad++ Portable 6.9 has been released. It's the handy Notepad++ text editor packaged as a portable app so you can do your development on the go. It has all the same great features of Notepad++ including support for multiple languages and an extensive plugin system, but there's nothing to install. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Iron Portable 48.0.2550.1 (web browser) Released

Iron Portable 48.0.2550.1 has been released. SRWare Iron is 'The browser of the future' - based on the free Sourcecode "Chromium" - but without some features that privacy advocates object to. This release updates to the latest version and fixes an issue preventing manual language selection. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Iron is packaged for portable use with permission from SRWare.

LibreOffice Portable is a full-featured office suite -- including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing package and database -- packaged as a portable app, so you can take all your documents and office suite wherever you go. The Still version is the older branch of LibreOffice maintained with bug fixes. It's recommended that most users use LibreOffice Portable. And it's open source and completely free.

Rufus Portable 2.7 has been released. Rufus Portable is a USB formatting utility which also can create a bootable USB drive using a bootable ISO image. This release updates to the latest version and improves portability but may require re-selecting your preferred language. This app requires admin rights. Geany Portable 1.26 Rev 2 (text editor and basic IDE) Released

Geany Portable 1.26 Rev 2 has been released. Geany Portable is cross-platform, GTK based Integrated Development Platform. You can work on simple text files, html, perl, python, NSIS and more with Geany. By using Geany Portable's built path-additions support, you can even configure Geany Portable so that Geany can use the compilers located locally on your flash drive. This release fixes an issue with UNC paths and portablization in 1.26. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform.
