my goal is to use ToDoList app on my pc and Tablet
just not sure how to do this..

Hi all. My problem is I have multiple tracks of audio recordings of original Audacity portable. Some could export them as MP3 playback and other 8 continued (all tracks (28) belong to the same project) to be exported as MP3 playing but no sound, only noise, take up space (they are recorded, you see the graph) . That may be happening? the defective copy and save as new project, but is the same. The format is escuhan audacity perfectly, but other programs will. Thanks for what you can help me. salutations

The computers I would be using Portable Apps on has blocked the use of .EXEs and .BATs. Is there any way to run the application with a .JAR file because I know these aren't blocked.

I use 4-5 beta apps with portableApps platform which all of them works great (at least until now). PortableApps platform updates the stable apps as you know. But I check also everytimes from this site by searching my Beta apps too.

Please make auto update also for beta apps please...

I used my portable apps today and when I went to eject the stick I get a message box popping up saying " External Exception C000006 "

I only have to hover my mouse pointer over the menu and I get the message.
I cant run any programs or do anything with the menu.
It looks like I will have to shut down my laptop so that I can take out the stick.

Anybody know why this is suddenly happening.

EDIT :- I managed to eject by shutting down the menu in task manager.

Is there still a file association app I cant find one that is current on the app list?

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit)

Portable Apps version: 10.0.1

Device: 4GB USB Drive

Cannot open On-Screen Keyboard Portable. The logo comes and goes away but nothing loads onto the screen. Rest all apps are opening without any problems. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but the problem persists. Tried opening it using the option "Run As Administrator" as well but to no avail.

Please help.

Just wondering if there are any opinions on dropping Frets on Fire from our list of supported apps. It's long since abandoned (2008) and doesn't work on Windows 7. There is a mod called FoFix which does work on Windows 7, but it's near-impossible to use without reading quite a bit first and it, too, is abandoned as a 4.0 Alpha 1 (2010). Thoughts? Anybody still use it?

idea: Encrypting portable apps menu or individual apps for security and protection.

The other day i was thinking what would happen if i lost my portableapps flash drive. all my accounts and user settings would be open for anyone to use.

my ideas are to have.

1. password protection: option to setup password protection in the settings, with encryption for extra extra protection.
2. first boot login: nice window prompting to put password to unlock menu or protected apps for that session.
