Lack of some functions after migration from a broken USB flash drive

Hi team,

Here is my story.

I've been using PortableApps for years. I've changed 3 of 4 USB flash drives for that period. My previos USB flash drive worked fine but couple months ago it broke. Fortunately I've manged to read all data. I took another USB flash drive, performed format (exFAT) and copy all portable applications and data. Then I launched Start.exe as usual. It seemed everything worked fine. But some days later I discovered that at least two applications work not as expected.

Opera portable +login and pasword

Hi Everybody,

First sorry for mistake because English is not my mother tongue.

I'm new using portableapps but I like the idea of having everything nomad beause Its so practical at our times:)
I'm using opera portable that I love stored on a patitionned hard drive (my main hard drive C: is for the system and D: is for portableapps)

Run installed Teamviewer without Teamviewer Service like the PortableApp

Hi, I want to find a way to run Teamviewer installed on Windows with the teamviewer Service removed or disabled, but every time a run Teamviewer.exe, it prompts to elevate privileges to start the teamviewer service. The PortableApp doesn't do that.

Anybody knows what can I do or tweak to completely disable the Teamviewer service on an installed version of teamviwer?

Cannot download emails from email server sites (e.g., Gmail).

Hello,
Suddenly today, the Thunderbird stopped downloading emails from an email server site (in my case Gmail) w/ the following message.

"!!! The folder inbox is full, and cannot hold any more messages. To make room for more messages, delete any old or unwanted mail and compact the folder. [OK]"

Even after deleting 1000s and 1000s of emails, the error message is the same, and I still cannot download any more emails.
Isn't it maybe, one of the email files became corrupt and lost [EOT], so the TB sees the file to be infinitely big.

Looking for someone to do a quick job

I was updating my apps and installing a few when I realized that you guys have already solved a problem I have.

I would be willing to pay to have someone help me because I need to wrap up some loose ends of my business before it sells.

Basically, I have a few pieces of software that I need to create installers for (2 already have their own) and then one script that I need to run. I was thinking NSIS could do this and I started trying to figure it out a couple of years ago, but I have never made it that far. Typically I get distracted by seemingly more important problems.

Would it be possible to download older versions of Skype?

I'd like to request for a portable Skype version 7.2.0.103. I cant seem to join chat rooms with my co-workers because they have that version and mine is the latest. Already tried asking help with IT at my office but they're not helping because they insist that i use the latest version. I can only chat directly to my office mates and I'm always left out of any updates they post on the chat rooms.

Please help.

Telegram Desktop official portable vs Telegram PortableApps version

What's the difference between Telegram PortableApps version (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/telegram-desktop-portable) and official client (https://telegram.org/dl/desktop/win_portable)?

It could be interesting change the PortableApp version to official one, which is v1.0 vs v0.10.

What do you think?

qBittorrent saves log file in USERPROFILE\AppData

Default setting for log file should be changed to Data\logs or something like that. Tools->Options, then scroll down to 'Log file'.

Edit: seems like that USERPROFILE\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\logs directory will disappear when the application exits and it gets saved to the Data directory. Must be a technical reason why it can't just stay in Data to begin with (so if qBittorrent crashes, it won't leave residue on the host computer.) But I can live with that. You can delete this thread.
