OpenTTD don't save language setting (BUG)

Submitted by kkc0923 on August 31, 2015 - 12:50am

I used OpenTTD on PortableApps platform. My PC environment is Windows 10 Pro x64.

OpenTTD's language setting was not saved correctly. When I restart OpenTTD, language setting are changed to English. Other options are saved and loaded correctly. Only language setting has problem.

I tried to manually edit openttd.cfg but not worked.

MyApps

There is one thing I miss in the otherwise great PA :

Although being able to add non-PAF-format apps to the PA-menu, it is really a pity they must be placed in the same directory as the PAF-ones.
I really dislike that they are mixed up the more some also use "Portable" in their program and/or directory-name.
And "Refresh Icons" doesn't go deeper than 1 directory-level so it's impossible to put them in a user-created "MyApps" directory in "PortableApps"

[Fixed] PortableApps version of InfraRecorder doesn't launch in Windows 10 x64

Submitted by SGB74 on August 26, 2015 - 9:11pm

I went to launch the portable app and a splash screen presented itself then disappeared, and after waiting several minutes nothing happened. I then opened the task manager to see InfraRecorder was sitting there and running but no GUI so I then ended the task and tried again and got same results. Should there be some list of some sort that will let users know which apps aren't currently compatible with Windows 10 to possibly prevent users from upgrading and rendering their commonly used apps useless.

PortableApps installation differences?

Submitted by PortableGood on August 22, 2015 - 4:39pm

When an app is installed via the (great) PortableApps Platform, are there any differences between that installation and when you manually perform an "installation" of a portable app? The typical manual "installation" technique is to create a new folder and copy all the contents of an archive (typically zip on Windows) into that folder.

Thanks!

DYNAMIC Disk to Basic

Submitted by DreamFire on August 20, 2015 - 2:41pm

Recently my laptop died before I got a chance to fully back up my documents.

I got a new laptop and a usb converter to be able to get the data off the old drive.

When I go to the disk management in Windows 10 the old drive shows up as dynamic disk and will not let me access the files.

I was wondering if there is any apps that can access the data without loosing any of it.

The laptop specs:

Toshiba Satellite C55-B
4 gb of memeory
64 bit windows 10 Home Edition
